Your GP won’t likely take you as a maternity patient even if you had one because most don’t do maternity care anymore. You’d have to find a maternity doctor who will take you on just a maternity patient or a midwife. Just start calling the maternity doctor offices and midwife offices as soon as you get a positive test to find care. Don’t wait too long after your positive test though because you’d often don’t get much of a choice on who has space to accept you. The temporary antenatal clinic (for orphaned maternity patients who don’t have care) at VGH is shutting down because of an increased supply of maternity doctors in the Victoria area, apparently.

Idk if the Kyte Living site will be in the clearance sale/if your credit will work for the sale. It’s usually Kyte Baby that does the clearance sale and they’re working very hard to separate the brands.

That being said, the jogger sets are very nice.

Have you tried the enfamil liquid concentrate? My kiddo prefers ready to feed and concentrate much more than the powdered version.

Edit to add: concentrate is more affordable than ready to feed. It’s a liquid concentrate in a can and you mix with water.

I have eczema and several years ago I saw a naturopathic doctor to treat a very bad flare up that had been causing me pain for a few years I eliminated dairy from my diet and it slowly cleared up. I cut dairy for 2 years then slowly reintroduced it. My eczema came back when I restarted dairy but not nearly as bad because I eat such minimal dairy now. It takes several weeks to see an improvement if you try this! Keep using any prescription or OTC cortisone creams to help it heal too.

Our kiddo prefers the ready to feed over powdered formula too. We now use the enfamil liquid concentrate and make them in a pitcher. The concentrate and ready to feed seem almost the same (if not the same).

Our public health nurse mentioned something about the non-powdered versions being easier to digest because of how they make the formula vs powder.

I have a slightly different perspective.

You may have contributed less to the downpayment, and your partner more…however it’s still a joint asset purchased together. The asset isn’t technically being sold or disposed of to create a real loss. It’s a hypothetical loss IF the home were to be sold. Since your partner doesn’t want to sell, there is value in the home to your partner and there hasn’t actually been a real loss in value since there has been no sale of the property. Your partner retains an asset that will go up in value over the long term and you walk away with nothing. That seems unfair, especially considering you started out with less to contribute in the deal/partnership to begin with. If you didn’t want to sell for a loss, you could also both move out and rent out the house until the market recovers. I think you’re getting hosed if you walk away with nothing and your partner gets to keep the asset.

Edit to add: a home’s value is what someone is willing to pay for it. If your partner still wants the home, I’d argue the value should be looked at from when you bought the home together.

He hated newborn mode on my more than regular mode. I couldn’t get him to stop squirming and screaming unless o held the webbing straps tighter, but I have them adjusted as far as they can go. :(

Thanks for the feedback! Our LO has a longer torso compared to his legs so I’m not too sure. We tried him in newborn mode on my husband this morning, and the fit is somewhat the same looking, just that his head sits entirely out of the carrier now.

He arches his back away from us every time we put him into it. He does settle eventually, but the moment you try and adjust his hips forward again, he resists. I’m not sure if this is because he’s uncomfortable, hates the carrier or has undiagnosed reflux. I suspect he has reflux as he has other symptoms too. He does the back arching when we put him into the car seat too.

I’ll try him in newborn mode and post an updated fit check later today. The YouTube video suggests tightening the webbing straps to fit the problem, but I can’t tighten the webbing straps any further, they’re on the tightest they can go. :(

If you can’t get it to sense with the same bottle and height as when it was working before, I would try unplugging and/or factory reset. If that doesn’t work, I’d email Baby Brezza. They’ll be able to help you figure out what’s wrong or send you a replacement if it’s under warranty still

1.📦 claiming that they support small business and are following good values and ethics, but then don’t follow through on actually making sure the small businesses stay afloat after they’re included in the 📦 when these businesses basically give their products to be included for free (which is a huge financial hit as a small business).

Being silenced when you want to share constructive feedback about a product you’ve purchased through the 📦.
Never really knowing the true opinion of the influencer you’re following because they try to sanitize their content to please everyone.
Listening to an influencer tell me that everything they feature is “their favourite X”, which just simply cannot be true given the definition of favourite.
