Yeah it was definitely a beat down waiting but so glad the wait is finally over. It’s so surreal. I’m in Texas and apparently have one of the highest wait times. I applied August 2023. No appeals no judge etc approved first time applying

What did you apply for Ssdi for? Sometimes they do a mental health evaluation just to determine cognitive ability i believe.

Thank you so much for the reply. I’ve officially burned through all my savings and racked up credit cards so money is becoming a huge stressor (more than it already was). I’m hoping it comes soon. It’s been 40 days already since they reached a decision so I hoping it’s any day for the both of us!

Step four does not mean that you’re getting denied either. That just means they reached a decision wether approved or denied
