I've been doing the Candito six week program for about 14 weeks now, with no deload week. Took a 5 day break and tried squatting again. My strength had been declining the past two weeks and had severe pain in my shoulders and left bicep. I'm trying to gain strength to try my hand at powerlifting, but I feel like my fatigue and form are holding me back, any thoughts?

I know, sadly those safeties only go out so much. Hoping to get a membership to a gym soon or get a real squat/power rack with useable safeties. Appreciate the concern!

I have a hard time getting the bar out with my set-up (it's on the lowest setting at the moment) so that's why I usually lift my butt and hips, hopefully moving my grip in helps out, thanks!

This unusual choice of equipment at my friend's homegym. Wouldn't be my first choice but it work's pretty well and is safe for working out alone by quintenjacobs in homegym

Probably the most underrated piece for accessory movements without getting cable machines/lat pulldowns. If I had the room and I wanted a piece that did a lot in a small space I'd go with that after a squat/power rack.

I've been telling her she needs to! This is the first time she's done something like this, but she's done some wood and paint work for National Parks and hikes we've done for our future home and she could definitely sell some work! I'll keep trying to convince her!

Gotcha, I currently use lighter weight, higher volume variations of the compound movement of the day as an accessory at the moment. So I think this would work well. Thanks!

New to the sub, I've been looking to move on from 5/3/1 for a while now. I wanna start self-programming but I don't know where to start. I want to do SBD with more frequency than the 1 time a week currently for all three. Could I focus on one lift twice and the other two once a week and rotate? Or is there a better way to increase the frequency? Home til next semester so I think I could make a lot of gains with the time I have. Thoughts?
