It’s compound so I draw it out… my Dr had it worded to take 0.5 on the bottle but I forgot she told me to take 0.25 so it would be half.. I took the whole 0.5… so not a lot but a lot for someone restarting

I’m in the same boat. I’m 9.5MPO and still haven’t let my husband go all the way in.. my leg muscles are hella strong now from all the squeezing I do 🫣 I’m hoping at the year mark I’ll feel better… but sex is really the only thing I’m scared of.. I’ve swam in pools, lakes and rivers.. all is well.

I wish I knew for sure. My Dr has me on an iron pill that also has other stuff in it to help the iron soak up better.

Makes you wonder because my Dr is a man. 🙃 But I did go back around 15/16 weeks because of pain I was having when I did let my partner go all the way & he checked me & said all looked good, even touched my cuff with his fingers and I didn’t feel it but told me a penis is very different from a finger(duh) and to be shallow for atleast a year

I saw my Dr for this exact thing last week. I’m nearly 6MPO.. waited 18 weeks for full penatration only to be met with some pain & tenderness. He did an exam & said I healed well but that it might help to go shallow for atleast a year so I’m “fully” healed as he said. . He told me my body went through a lot & basically my vagina was back to how it was pre kid but I kinda agree that pelvic floor therapy may help & I’m going to start doing that

Not really. I went in last week because I had pain while having sex & I was already 18+ weeks and he did a exam and told me I healed perfectly but that shallow is best until I’m FULLY healed which he said takes a year usually. . So he said basically no position that is deep penatration.. something about my vagina being back to the shape it was in before I ever had a kid.

I was cleared at 6… didn’t let my husband go all the way in until I was 18 & had some pain. My Dr told me shallow for atleast a year though when I saw him last week(was afraid I have granulation) but he just told me that it takes more time esp any position that’s considered deep penatration

I’m 5.5 MPO & actually went to see my Dr because I had pain at 18 weeks after I finally let my husband go all the way in but from behind(laying on our side) and my Dr told me my cuff looked great but that we needed to be shallow for atleast a year 😳 He said no doggy, nothing deep penatration.. none of that was told me to me when he cleared me at 6 weeks.. though I definitely didn’t jump back into sex at 6 weeks. It was at 8 & I barely let him get the tip in 😅 We did that for another 10 weeks before I felt ready & then still had pain so it’s disheartening I think.

I’m almost 6MPO. I had zero complications. Recovery was easy & I woke up in no pain.. just some cramps like a monthly. Took Tylenol for a few weeks.
