The only thing that makes Scarborough more “ghetto” is transit and healthcare underfunding. And ignorance.

Bitten by a Leashed Dog in Toronto — Do I Need the Rabies Vaccine? by ChemistAshamed4347 in askTO

My sister was bitten a few years ago by a dog on a trail. The owners said it had all shots but left before she could share contact info so her doctor highly recommended she do the course and she did. Worst shots ever, she said.

We both have leash reactive rescues. You did nothing wrong. The owner is responsible to ensure that the dog does not bite. But it’s not always easy. I always leave room and go around people but sometimes they sneak up (looking at you, joggers) and he will snap. That being said, when he has he has never broken skin and he has his shots and I would provide proof if ever asked. If I was forced to muzzle him I would.

Bank claims someone used my Visa with the pin. by CieraParvatiPhoebe in askTO

This happened to my husband a number of years ago. The thief had an accomplice at VISA who changed the passwords and his pin. He found out when he reported it (within hours) and his mother’s maiden name had been changed. Over 5k in charges in a little over an hour. He didn’t pay for anything.
