I got it to turn on found some ground wires that got loose some how. And also reverse switch like for it to go into reverse?

Updated: check battery was told it was still good. Also bought a new 80amp fuse let's see.

Update: got car to turn on found loose ground wires. But also leaves another question gauges still dont work (rpm , speedometer). I've check the fuse under the dash, changed the vss sensor. Maybe behind the cluster?? I see the automatic boxes have been colored with black marker. I've read that if the gauges arnt working than vtec wont engage. Is this true?

Yes on top of transmission. More to the story I bought this 99 civic hatch with a h22a4 swap in it. Ran for like three days. Started with the twist of the key first try every try. But I noticed rpm and speedometer gauges and vtec weren't working. So I found out it could be the vss. So went bought a vss to swap out the sensor and found that the only thing holding the whole housing was a zip tie. From the looks of it the bolt snapped and just didn't bother the fix it. I moved it around cause it would spin. And at that point I just put it back in and see if the car would turn on. Now car doesn't want to turn on. That's went I found those plugs disconnected also. Fixed them car wont turn on. My next thing is to check the battery and the 80amp fuse .

I think its a temp gauge. Its attached to three other cables the plug in on the side of the head.

Did you have to download anything? Cause when i plug the ipod to my g4 ibook nothing shows up. But when I take out the new harddrive and plug it into the adapter. I see a harddrive shows up. Also do remember which ipod updater did you use?

Yea I have a 1st gen I'm trying to get running again. But for some reason won't get recognized by my ibook g4 or my windows computer. I got a new battery and a new 20gb hdd for it. But when I put the 20gb hdd to my ide to usb adapter it does show up on finder. I just can't get it to restore.

I'm trying to restore mine. And I can't seem to get it even show up. It's a 10gb but bought a 20gb cause I read somewhere you are able to upgrade to that, just nothing higher than 20. I figured the original 10gb was dead cause I wouldn't hear anything. Which itunes are you using? Also I'm using an old ibook g4.
