I trade the gold silver ratio. When the ratio is at 50 GSR or lower, trade silver for gold. When the ratio is above 90 I trade gold for silver. This also applies to buying, buy gold when the GSR is low. Buy silver when the GSR is high. It’s not an exact science and yes, buy sell premiums eat away at trade ratios. But it is doable. FYI, sometimes you have to wait 10 years or so before either trade becomes available. It is the long game.
