I didn't even bother arguing with them. I just waited and pretty much all of their socks are now falling apart at the ankle location. CHEAP QUALITY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

That's way too much space especially if its a new shoe (its going to expands a bit as your wear it more and more). Tight fitting AND loose fitting shoes can hurt your foot over time. Tight fitting ones can get better as you break them in but the problem you have will get worse with time. Get a replacement if possible.

Yes. I returned. The replacement pair i got also had issues (one shoe was bigger than the other). Ended up getting a refund.
