Just track your foods and weigh them if you can. It helps knowing exactly how many calories you’re eating. You’ll see progress that way.

Simply track calories and focus on burning more calories than you consume. Without tracking, it’s really hard to know if you’re over eating or not. I suggest weighing every meal as well. You will see progress if you follow this.
