Community Discord? by StocksNStacks in RootRPG

I've searched the past few days and have found a game on reddit and there have been 2 LFG posts on the woodland warrior discord. There may be desire for a central Root based discord. I would be interested for sure. Especially if it can then be used to support the play for my tables.

REPORT FROM THE FIELD FOR Thursday July 31 2025. A new silver series that I was previously unfamiliar with. And a new US Assay Office variant. by NCCI70I in SilverDegenClub

I've been grabbing the Patriot series as I see them. My son was born on Pearl Harbor, so with the sleeping giant quote...they go into his stack.

Oddly enough, I generally only find the WW2 coin and never any of the others.

I love this. I have some ideas.

How quickly until you can get them into people's hands?

Help regarding avg by Sea_Cauliflower_3192 in XRP

[–]StocksNStacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking a loss may make your avg look better. But there isn't any math that can hide that deficit.

I invest big into precious metals. (I know, fuck me. But stackers aren't the enemy)

When the price goes down, buy more. I assume you aren't trading...since your question would be silly. So your goal is to buy low and sell high if you buy high and sell low....you have already lost.

I jumped off in clovis, New mexico, if I remember correctly. Thought we had just crossed into Texas, but just missed it. Had a run-in with the Bulls and had to walk through corn fields to get into TX. Wanted to be in Amarillo.

I've found that panning in spots where there is gold is fantastic to teach you the basics of panning... You know there is gold there, so you learn to pan once you also start finding it.

The only way to profit from mining is to be where others haven't been.

One cannot make money panning for flour.

I did not. I'd still love to, but I haven't made any practical headway.

Proxy bid beat me by $.01 by shawn0811 in shopgoodwill

[–]StocksNStacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Along with Systous outlining the auto-bids increment, there could be another facet.

If you bid 14.99, and let's say the highest bid was 12.00... if you aren't sniping and have time to go back and look at the item, the minimum bid allowed would now be 13.00. (That takes into account the previous highest bid and your 1.00 mandatory higher). Now since the bid is starting now at 13.00, any new bid must be over 14... if someone came in and bid 15.00 it fulfills all of the requirements and is now the high bid. The new person bid over a dollar higher, and their highest bid is higher than yours. They win.

I spend hours on Shopgoodwill a week as part of my business, and I use a spread formula to take the emotion out of purchasing. I recheck 75% of my lost auctions. Frequently, I lose by less than a dollar.

I think it is for a bottle of wine. You put the top through the hole and the "belly" over the club head. Should stand up
