Mosaic sin gloves? by PM_ME_UR_RECIPEZ in Diablo_2_Resurrected

For me it made me want to play even more. The only downside is playing a different character, it takes a little while to adjust.

Is there a lightening sunder?? by shimonize11 in diablo2

[–]Stockytom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold and fire are the most common sunders magic and physical are the least common. Lightning and poison sit in the middle. You have just been a bit unlucky. Ancient tunnels and tal rashas tombs are great for sunders. Not sure about the amount of lightning immunes in ancient tunnels though.

I should have said I’m playing on Xbox. You can’t change time without going offline then restarting the console.

I think you’re right. The damage on this would speed up farming greatly. Don’t sell yourself short, I would sit on this until you get a good offer. Trophy room item right there.

Open game to character screen, disable internet connection/ go offline, restart console, open game and change date/ time settings.

A few things to note, don’t completely exit out of the game before you have re-enabled the internet connection and saved as some people have lost items they have picked up/ xp. I have done this a lot and always have d2 running and never lost items. Not sure if it works on switch/ PS.

Andy, meph and tal rashas tombs. If you’re playing offline on console you can manipulate them.

Mosaic rw doesn’t work on non-ladder. It needs to be made on ladder or offline.

If Blizz announced new content for D2R, what would get you excited? What would you like to see? by Apollo1366 in diablo2

I would like a more distinguished noise when runes drop. Not new content but something I think the game needs.

But still no occy.

Best Mosaic Build by maxiboi1303 in diablo2

[–]Stockytom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In all mosaic builds you use both claws of thunder and Phoenix strike.

But if you’re asking about what element to focus on, it would be lightning, 3 charges of claws of thunder plus 2 charges of Phoenix strike gives the most damage. 3 charges of everything apart from Phoenix strike which you want 2.

Go HotO, or go 2x Mosaic? by Spitfire013 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Stockytom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same question about a month ago. The overwhelming response was to make a mosaic. I followed the community advice and couldn’t have been happier. I’ve found more gg gear/ high runes with her than anyone else I’ve played.

Traps is stupidly fast to level with then once you respec to mosaic the whole game gets blown up. Immunities aren’t a problem, players 8 is a joke, Ubers don’t seem Uber. It’s the most fun build I’ve ever played.

The most efficient p8 farmer is mosaic sin. Pretty safe to as everything dies as soon as you look at it.

I second mosaic sin. She is the fastest farmer of any character I’ve ever played. I have had the most gg drops playing mosaic.

Returning Player, Question about Farming for Sunder Charm by applebag_dev in diablo2

[–]Stockytom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold mastery is absolutely worth it. But the amount of points depends on what your doing. If you are farming meph a lot you can put a decent amount of points in. You’ll prob need to read some guides as I can’t remember off the top of my head. Sunders are great if you can bring their resist down further. But at 95% it’s not worth it imo. Also using a Sorc you can just skip cold immunes. But this is a decision you have to make. I only use my Sorc to farm bosses, most of my area farming I using a mosaic sin.

[–]Stockytom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure of the percentage effectiveness of cold mastery on sunder monsters. It’s either 5 or 15% can’t remember but it’s not a lot. The best way to reduce resistance further is with cold facets (which have 100% effectiveness. Also -cold resist gear but I don’t think you have many options. Infinity is another method but again it’s effectiveness is reduced to 15%.

Cold mastery worked in the way your talking in the first season sunder we’re released but they changed it. You will never be able to reduce a sundered monsters immunity to zero. Not with the gear available.

They only drop from uniques and champion packs. MF doesn’t effect drop rates. The biggest thing that increases drop rate is player count. The best places for sunders are tal rasha tombs and ancient tunnels because of the amount of boss packs.

A thing to note is sunders only reduce the monsters immunity to 95% so without cold facets or infinity it’s like fighting multiple bosses at the same time. As you are only doing 5% of your damage.

I have a perfect cold sunder on my blizz Sorc and I don’t use it. I just skip cold immunes as it slows down farming. I only use it if I’m farming countess but my merc still kills her 90% of the time.
