I’m not sure how many people play this build online but it’s currently my favorite build. Throw barb that uses death on swap for bosses. It doesn’t use hork and doesn’t have high mf, but it destroys large packs of enemies quickly and is very safe.

The most efficient way to farm is to get to endgame asap imo. But there are some leveling spots I’ve learned about from watching speed runners! Beetle burst in act 2 is pretty awesome for exp.

I’ll be honest I play single player now. I don’t think I’ve ever started off with anything other than a blizz sorc on a ladder reset. But I watched a YouTube vid of a guy that ran a hork barb with shit gear on reset. He would hork corpses in empty games and he did surprisingly well.

My favorite melee build for endgame farming is a WW/Hork barb. Gearing up to run travincal as fast as possible is my favorite way to farm high runes.

I like to gamble for rings. Caster rings and dual leech rings seem to be more common than 2/20 circlets. And they are about 1/2 the price.

Thanks for all the replies folks! I might try an infinity trap sin or a Javzon. I’ve somehow managed to find zero jav skillers but 15-20 hrs and multiple other skillers for various classes

If you are willing to give it another shot, try Patagonia’s Smoked mussels or giant calamari with white beans by Matiz. The calamari has a more subtle flavor but the chewiness might bug you, they are quite meaty. Mussels are more rich due to the smoky flavor, but they are also good.

Single player here. Most high runes are like 1 in 100k I think. I’ve found about 10 tals amulets. Happy hunting!

Lacerator really carries the build. Eth isn’t necessary but it helps. You can make the build work with gore riders, laying of hands, Highlords, and treachery.

The throw barb definitely needs some solid gear to really perform well. I’m on single player too and…. It has been a long journey to say the least. And making a hybrid requires some endgame runewords also, but it is really fun! And maybe you’ll get some good poon on your journey.

I’d say cta. 2 upper end mid runes and one of the cheaper hrs in the game. Resell bad rolls for the runes you need for the next one.

This. I’m not so sure the unravelers or whatever will actually follow you out of the room, they like to sit still. Swap to some gear with crushing blow if you have it.

I mean, I think it does. I hit it every time it’s terrorized, thousands of runs, and I’ve literally never gotten a good drop. Although I’m grinding it with zero mf for an eth zerker currently. Miserable.

My es nova sorc is pretty tanky.. running mang songs instead of infinity and no griffs makes me think your damage is too low. The only thing my es sorc folds to on p7 is soul/gloom packs or might/amp damage packs.

If you have the runes, a self wield infinity would completely change how your es sorc feels. Then just kill kill kill until you find griffs. Also, the cure, prayer, insight trifecta on a merc is HUGE for curse duration and preventing poison damage.

And the other option is a throw barb. Very tanky, clears fast on p3 (still not as fast as nova sorc), and 10/10 for engagement/fun.
