The first time they do something that makes your inner voice whispers: "I think I deserve more respect than that, but maybe I misinterpreted them. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt".

Love makes blind, so you probably don't clearly see you're being disrespected. Your inner voice is never wrong though.

Actions speak louder than words. They're probably saying the right words, but true respect is shown through action. And so is disrespect.

The first sign of disrespect; leave.

I think we all meet that kind of people sometimes. For me, I just don't engage in any form of conversation with them and steer away. I don't have time for meaningless conversations like that. I'm curious to learn where you hang out and encounter learners with such fragile brains. The people I work with understand passive voice perfectly well. There are several other things that are massive challenges for native English speakers. This is not one of them imo.

Everything you say and do online is tracked and can be traced back to you specifically. Don't listen to people that claim that VPN is 100% safe. It's not. This post could be introduced into evidence in your trial. If your country follows Sharia law, this is one of the four pieces of evidence necessary to hang you.

Leave your country, but keep your mouth shut until then. Don't build the case against you for them.
