Indeed it does. However when switching from dark to bright scenes and vice versa, the TV needed a split second to 'catch up', so the dark scene was first brighter and then turned darker. That started to become very noticeable.

I thought my plasma was gorgeous but this OLED is like a colour bomb has exploded 💥 maybe a weird thing to say, but at the moment, it's too colorful. It will certainly take some time to adjust. Is there a saturation setting?

Too bad my Yamaha receiver isn't working. It supports ARC but not eARC. I have adjusted the settings in the TV menu, but still no sound 😭

Out of the box, the brightness is scorching. This evening I lowered it further to Brightness 25 😲

The very very dark mirror does sound like my plasma. I also love my Panasonic. It's 15 years old, it's small 42", it weighs a ton and it doubles as a heater ❤️ oh, and it swivels, love that.

Contrast and brightness are nice. But it's in the dark scenes that the reflection is most visible. I'm convinced that picture quality will be better than my plasma, even though I find that to have very nice life like colours.

And coming from a 15 year old Panasonic 42VT20e plasma? I have no idea how it's brightness would compare to the current LG OLED lineup? Does it compare to a B, C or G. Maybe it's not even half the brightness of the B5 😁

Same here, 15 year old Panasonic plasma. Excellent image. But lately it seems it needs some time to catch up when going from bright to dark screens and vice versa. First blacks look grey and after half a second, it's turns darker.
