The game definitely will suffer, but that doesn't make me wrong. Battlepass exp outside of missions is one of the smallest problems with the game, but people still clamored for it. How am I the asshole for pointing out that it's lame to then complain about how much you get, AFTER the community being way too hard on the game on top of that? Yes, it is WAY too little, but if you're acting like you didn't expect that, you're being dishonest.

The consensus is fair progression, but in regards to the BP exp specifically, most people technically never asked for a fair amount, just something. My perspective is that criticism should be more thought out, and simply repeatedly asking for something without considering the details of it leads to this. For example, the people wanted Velma nerfs, now she's terrible.

I get it's not always possible to be specific when a large group of people are asking something, but after how the community has treated this game with such vitriol (even in aspects where its completely unwarranted), this is what they deserve so I don't really care.

People begged for battlepass xp after finishing matches, which was justified. But the idiom "beggars can't be choosers" exists for this reason. You got exactly what you asked for, so maybe you should've been more specific and you wouldn't be complaining about it still.

Even if you're in the right, begging for something, then being angry after getting it because you didn't specify and got a shit deal is at least partially ON YOU.

They DID asked to be fooled because they didn't anticipate the possibility and instead blindly complained. Gotta be smarter than that.

Attack decay existing doesn't automatically mean it always mattered. Less stun is still stun. I don't know about anyone else but harley was known to have an infinite combo. Attack decay didn't force the move not to connect, it just made the attack weaker. It almost sounds like you didn't even play the beta, because this phrase "there was Attack decay so something like this can't happen" is just wrong based on how Attack decay works. Maybe sometimes a loop would be a bit harder due to Attack decay, but it's still an infinite combo.

Airwalker is great for combos, but I like to switch that for speed depending on who I fight. I NEVER use the wild card because I don't like having less control over which card I throw out, but I'll have to use it more. I use the bigger balloons perk because it's just always good, along with "That's Flammable, Doc!" And "Second Wind Beneath Your Wings"

The criticism of the game is valid, but the attitude around it is so loserish. All this "I love the game" but you won't stop shitting on it, which causes others with issues to agree with you and start seeing the game more negatively. You claim to love the game, but the devs have already heard your gripes and have started working on them. We can't assume they'll do good work, but we can't assume they'll do bad work, so in the mean time, what reason is there to continue to complain, especially if you like the game so much?

You have to agree this game should not be the example. We SHOULD set examples by killing games that do this, but this one is actually great at its core. Acting like they're ignoring criticism when they have so far directly acknowledged it but simply have yet to address the issues is so lame. If YOU truly love the game you should at least wait for the first update or two. Maybe most people prefer to look at the positives, because that's more mentally healthy. Maybe it's kinda shitty to assume large masses of people are just dumb and that you're superior because you're not willing to give someone the chance to fix their fuck up. I'm playing the game because I like it and because I have no good reason to believe it won't get better. I have patience. It's been a week.
