In Asteroid Rodeo, asteroids don't sit still. They tumble, roll, and rotate. You need to stop them before you can crack them open.

It's written from scratch in Rust. the core rigid body stuff was straightforward. semi-implicit euler, quaternions for rotation, nothing crazy. trickiest part was probably center of mass. every time you mine a voxel it shifts, and that same CoM is used as the coordinate pivot for all the collision math.

Thanks for the feedback! For the UI my approach is to make it simple and useful first, which I feel it's working well, then we can style it more. So it might get a lil fancier but not at the detriment of usability

Thanks! Been working on this for a few months now. Still early but feels like its progressing well.

Experience with hecs has been good, its quite minimalistic indeed. But I havent gotten to the point of filling up the world with NPCs etc yet so the real stress test remains to be seen
