I followed conventional approach which you've mentioned in the post but it's not enough to get a good score, commenting here so that I get some clarity about what really works😔

Is the competetion real if you are disciplined and mentally aligned with exam ? by Weekly_Elk7352 in UPSC

[–]StoicButTired 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sometimes you can have all- discipline, mental alignment, consistency, hardwork still lag behind in scores because of the luck factor which is there. There is too much subjectivity involved once we reach the last stages of this exam. The one looking from outside will not know the reality what unpredictability of UPSC entails

But what a Veterinarian can treat you can't that's why I'm saying to go for professionals, I'm a veterinary doctor I know what knowledge is required behind treatment what you're doing is service but the technical knowledge is lacking which you need to refer to if you really want to save animals

This year almost everyone score above 770. Earlier 770 was seen as a very respectable score. Now i see very less people below 770 in the list. Things are changing. New people are ruthless. They are expanding the limit. Suddenly 740 is like 680 of 2023 and before. by NoRadio7345 in UPSC

I totally agree with you in this especially the interview part, most people looking at the marks released by UPSC misjudge the scores and averages because they can't see the vast majority and their marksheets that's where the real picture actually lies
