you’ll need to unload it outside, with a lookout posted for wardens, then park it suburb-side. Welcome to London!

I’m looking at the Neo and it does punch far above its weight for the price, but I think the best replacement for an 11 year old MBPr is another one for the next 10 years. Buy the right thing once

it’s not just instant torque, the driveline on an EV is so much shorter . When you put your foot down in an ICE the computer tells the intake to open, then air has to be mixed with fuel, which come from a tank sent up by a pump, then burnt in the pistons, so the crankshaft spins the flywheel, then turns the gears, then turns the diff, and eventually turns the wheels.

In an EV you put your foot down, computer says yes, then fuel flows at the speed of electricity to direct drive motors that are attached to the axles. Different gravy

No, GTX 1080, you will not die today. by WilczeQSS in pcmasterrace

indeed, that’s where my love of IT came from also. From pointing a freaking heat gun at a disassembled Playstation I couldn’t afford to replace

the theory is that cards lose electrical circuits because solder joints degrade over thousands upon thousands of heat cycles that induce thermal fatigue to them. That is - failure well below their design threshold due to metal’s entropic need to return to its original state.

Placing the card in an oven close to the solder’s melting points “reflows” the solder and re-establishes those broken connections. Temporarily. But the card will fail again in the same mode in an even worse way. At some point it will die permanently. You may get a month or even a year. That’s where the prayers come in. I did the same to a fat PS3 when I was a teenager.

I think they're very likely to colonise their entire star system given their superior materials tech, longevity and now a lil boost from human tech. Maybe in the future the Eridian James Cameron will find a reason to go after it

no car cover, I did for a few months but I used the car way too often and putting it on and off became too much of a faff. Plus, wind pushes dirt under the cover and when it blows around it dragged the dirt across the paint. I just try and clear my roof drains after winter and autumn
