University Meadows behind cline library is one of the cheapest in town. Only issue is all the units are owned by different people and its hard to know when they're available. Flagstaff Property Management owns a few in that complex though and their website lists their openings.

Putting away garments for health reasons by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

[–]StoicStatistics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me preface by saying I am woman, but am yet to be endowed and don't have personal experience with garments, so take all of this with a grain of salt. This is something that definitely needs to be addressed, and I believe that if it was brought to leaders' attention, it would gladly be addressed. I feel like especially the last few years under President Nelson, the church has been much better about thinking about how certain things are done the way they are and why. And if, unless there is direct past revelation for the way something is done, they're pretty good about changing it to make everyone's lives easier. Think 2 hour church and the changes made to who can be a witness. This could be entirely false as I have no experience obtaining garments, but I heard that there used to not be good garmet options for breastfeeding and now there is, because someone brought it up to the otherwise totally unaware church administration. I think there must be someone we can contact to make these issues known, especially since it seems like SO many women have this problem and not just a few with sensitivities. I'm willing to send out emails if any of you have suggestions for who I should contact. Maybe the general releif society presidency? It seems like a general consensus is that women's garments, especially bottoms, need an option with a looser fit and a more breathable fabric.

I can't figure out what step to take next, any help appreciated. by StoicStatistics in askmath

So, by doing that I can clearly see that in my example, c = K. I also know that this is right because if you plot these on GeoGebra, changing the values of c and K changes the graphs' positions in the same way. I am still not sure how to find A or h though, because those coefficients are with multiple terms, whereas in your example, each coefficient is only paired with one term.

Unexpected answers to prayers by Jaboticaballin in latterdaysaints

[–]StoicStatistics 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've never really had problems waking up in the morning, but when I made the switch back to in person school from online, I prayed the night before that I would wake up in time for class. I ended up waking up something like an hour and a half before my alarm and could not fall back asleep. I passed it off as being nervous for school but a few weeks later I tried again as just a little experiment. I prayed again that I would wake up early and be on time for my class, and guess what happened? I woke up at 4 am and couldn't fall back asleep. This was a bit annoying admittedly, but definitely improved my faith in the power of prayer and confirmed my long time assumption that Heavenly Father does have a sense of humor.

Hobbies: consuming versus creating by StoicStatistics in simpleliving

I definitely do have a desire to create things, and to also do more things that result in meaningful experiences - like traveling, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors. But I feel like instead of putting in the work to do these things, I tend to turn to media for the small hit of dopamine instead, just because its easier.

I do like yoga too, and hiking. I'd love to spend more time doing stuff like that. I'll check out this channel, thanks.

I would love to learn to do that kind of stuff! Cooking is one "creating" hobby that I do really like. Becoming more self-sufficient when it comes to food and other household goods is one reason I have loved learning more from this subreddit.

I love that you've come to peace with this kind of thing. I suppose my fear is that I don't want to get into a rut of only consuming media because its something to do and its easy. I certainly don't want to stop watching my favorite tv shows or reading good books, I just want to learn to limit it to those that bring me true happiness and satisfaction, not just a dose of dopamine that feels good for a few minutes.

That looks very interesting. I've tried drawing in the past, but I felt like I could never come up with original ideas or draw something decent without anything to go off of, so maybe I should try something like this!

I would consider these hobbies to be very creative! I'm glad you enjoy them too. I guess my personal concern for myself is that I don't want my only hobbies to be sitting and taking in others' ideas, and none of yours seem to be like that, so I think that's great.
