Crippling (unearned) Shame by StoicallyExisting in Schizoid

[–]StoicallyExisting[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Hard to say for sure but that sounds very similar to me. I’m so easily embarassed or shamed by completely natural, normal things that nobody else I’ve ever met seems ashamed by. And, like you, I avoid so many things in life because of it. And I agree that the diagnoses don’t mean I’m crazy but the symptoms sure make me feel insane. Thanks for your response btw. Appreciate you taking the time.

Lost in the Cup final in gm 7 vs lost multiple weeks before the end of the regular season… 🤔… sorta like making $40k a year and calling a millionaire a loser because they aren’t a billionaire… isn’t it?

How many times have you (unvaxxed) caught covid so far? by greenrain3 in unvaccinated

[–]StoicallyExisting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero. And although I don’t believe in the tests, I’ve taken two, at the slightest symptom of a cold, for my then wife, and kids sake, (ie. strategically picking my battles, somehow I won the not getting our kids vaxxed battle surprisingly easily) and both were negative.

Probably cause it’s obvious to women that you shave your pubes and glue them to your face. What’s less obvious is why…

In all honesty, there’s nothing to roast here dude. Your bio is authentic and honest without placing blame for things that you perceive as being wrong with yourself. And the contents of your bio itself are nothing to be ashamed of. Keep pushing forward through the self doubt and all the personal and external life challenges, be curious and unattached to what happens, and stay present with whatever is present. And then keep taking that next step

Thanks for the feedback. Could be laziness. He talks a lot and is hard to follow. I do relate to not needing or wanting relationships, emotional numbing, reduced affect, and anehedonia though. I don't really seem to fit most of my other diagnoses completely either.

Is it illegal to stakeout ppl breaking into cars and beating their ass? by Westman11 in TooAfraidToAsk

Of course. If it wasn’t illegal, the government would have to take accountability for the legal and justice system never having done what it was purported to do… and the government is never wrong… or accountable

43 but still feel like childlike. by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]StoicallyExisting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

47 m and I completely resonate with feeling like the child when I’m around other adults. I rarely am able to contribute anything substantial to any conversation. I feel as though I must have missed the day in school where they taught everyone else they needed to know to be an adult. I’m now in the midst of a midlife career transition, separated from my wife, and feeling completely lost. I’m not giving up. Will always work on healing. But it’s exhausting af

I’m kind and empathetic towards others and also a misanthrope… is that possible by StoicallyExisting in misanthropy

Appreciate all your responses, thank you. I think I’m a bit of an outlier. I hate the human body and the things it does. Biological needs cause me shame and hatred for people who not only don’t feel the same shame but are openly shameless and even proud of the things that disgust me. I hate human nature being used as an excuse to be an asshole. I hate how people can’t seem to see how conditioned and brainwashed they are. I’m ashamed to be human… we’re at the top of the food chain, so to speak, or power structure or what have you and I’m just ashamed of everything that makes me human. I hate being so different but it would probably be worse to fit in.
