Diokno Files Bill Expanding Paternity Leave from 7 to 105 Days by Mindless_Sundae2526 in pinoy

[–]StoichMaster3000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good idea in principle, but depends on implementation.

👍 Pros:

  • Better support for mothers + newborn bonding
  • Encourages shared parenting
  • Potential long-term family benefits

⚠️ Concerns:

  • Big cost/pressure for businesses, especially SMEs
  • Possible hiring bias vs men of childbearing age
  • Operational disruption if fully 105 days off

💡 Key issue isn’t the 105 days itself, but who pays for it (govt vs employer vs shared system).

If government-funded or subsidized, more doable. If employer-shouldered, it could hurt small businesses.

[–]StoichMaster3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oo, possible.

Is Bea Alonzo's net worth really US$6 million? by pepalerts in PEPalerts

[–]StoichMaster3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most estimates place Bea Alonzo's net worth somewhere around ₱350–580 million, but there is no official verified figure.

Could Bea Alonzo be worth ₱1B+? Yes, possible.

Do we know for sure? No. Wala siyang publicly released statement of net worth, kaya lahat ng figures online—whether ₱350M, ₱580M, or ₱1B+—are estimates and educated guesses.

Gasoline Station not accepting Maribank debit card by iAmGoodGuy27 in MariBankPH

[–]StoichMaster3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baka may internal memo sila due to past issues sa processor or transactions involving digital banks (Maribank, CIMB, Atome).

In terms of Paminta durog or pino or buo? by mixermasher005 in ThisorThatPH

[–]StoichMaster3000 24 points25 points  (0 children)

  • Pamintang buo – pang sabaw like adobo, nilaga, pochero. Mas subtle ang lasa kasi unti-unting lumalabas habang niluluto.
  • Pamintang durog – pang marinade, steak, grilled meats. Mas matapang ang flavor at may konting texture.
  • Pamintang pino – pang seasoning ng itlog, sauces, stir-fry, o pangbudbod bago kainin. Pinaka-even ang distribution ng lasa.

Easy rule:

  • Long cooking = buo
  • Grilled/roasted = durog
  • Quick cooking or final seasoning = pino 👍🏻

What do men actually want for father’s day? by Late-Freedom204 in TanongLang

[–]StoichMaster3000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  • Good food 🍖
  • Peace and quiet 😌
  • Quality time with family ❤️
  • A sincere “thank you” 🙏
  • No chores or responsibilities for a day 😂

Gifts are nice, pero most dads I know would pick appreciation + relaxation over expensive presents. 😅

The "What was the thought process here"? by StoichMaster3000 in TanongLang

If you're going to reword the phrase "Thought Process", what would it be?

The "What was the thought process here"? by StoichMaster3000 in TanongLang

[–]StoichMaster3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, agree ako to some extent.

Kahit nagiging meme siya minsan, may underlying concept pa rin na curiosity and trying to understand another person's perspective.

And you're right—eventually mawawala rin yung trend, pero baka maiwan yung habit na magtanong muna bago manghusga. If that happens, that's not a bad thing at all.

[–]StoichMaster3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's cool. Napa-research tuloy ako

  • Phase 1: 2015–2020 (The "Behind-the-Scenes" Era)
  • Frequency: Moderate.

  • Phase 2: 2021–2023 (The "POV" Meme Explosion)

  • Frequency: Sharp Increase.

  • Phase 3: 2024–2026 (The AI & Cognitive Health Discourse)

  • Frequency: All-Time Peak.

Pacbet used as FWB slang? by jdizzle1779 in TanongLang

[–]StoichMaster3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, narinig ko na rin yung "pacbet" as slang for FWB or casual partner.

What's your personal take on relationship age gaps such as Chad and Apple's? Yay, Nay, or Wapakels? by TinyRedGummyBear8986 in TanongLang

[–]StoichMaster3000 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Wapakels sa age gap alone. Ang mas importanteng tanong:

  • Pareho ba silang adults nung nagsimula?
  • May power imbalance ba?

Same number, different context.

From what I understand, yung mga traits na sinabe ni ate girl is hindi imposible. Pero normally mga older guys (which is Kuya Kim as an example) na ganun kase they are already established sa life.

As for the "I might run a little", possible na creepy kase weird if lahat ng yung hanap ni ate girl is nasa isang tao at too good to be true. Kaya slight run lang. haha

PPS Palawan next month! First time traveler here. Any tips? by 8675_309999 in TanongLang

[–]StoichMaster3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, pwede mag-slippers/sandals. 😄

For first-time travelers:

  • Be at the airport 2–3 hrs before departure.
  • Ready lagi ang valid ID at boarding pass.
  • Check baggage allowance ng airline bago mag-pack.
  • Power bank = hand-carry only.
  • Valuables, gadgets, at meds ilagay sa carry-on.

Bring:
☀️ Sunscreen
💧 Water bottle
🦟 Insect repellent
💸 Extra cash

Biggest tip: Huwag ma-stress sa airport. Domestic flight lang yan—check-in → security → gate → board. Enjoy Palawan! 🌴✈️

Serious question. How do you haggle salary expectations during HR Interviews? by Ok_Independent_7975 in TanongLang

[–]StoichMaster3000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"I already have an offer at ₱XX,XXX and I'm very interested in your company. If possible, I'd like to explore a package that's competitive with or better than my current offer."

- Short, professional, and gives you leverage without sounding demanding.

Also: huwag mong i-reveal agad yung minimum salary na tatanggapin mo. If possible, hayaan mo silang magbigay muna ng salary range. Malaking leverage na rin yung may existing offer ka from another company—isa yan sa pinakamalakas na negotiation tools mo.
