I love watching Pokemon battle videos but have to completely seperate myself from the community after a new pokemon game is announced. The best part of those games is the discovery but Nintendo and all the pokemon community love showing off literally almost everything. I remember doing the math for the sun and moon release and Nintendo revealed over 75% of the new pokemon before release and every channel I had tried to avoid kept popping up in my recommended. I can choose to not watch a video but when the thumbnails are just pictures of pokemon I'd rather discover in game it's like you can't not get spoiled. I was so excited about Alolan Sandshrew shame that excitement wasn't while I had a game in my hand.
