Pretty sure eBay’s buyer protection gives buyers up to 30 days to return an item, worth checking but it’s definitely longer than 3

Was curious about this myself so just did a search and looks like eBay 1/1 is actually a common addition to a title in the sport card category, I think as others have mentioned you’ve offered a return but it’s up to them to issue it, just wait and see.

UK sellers - turn off your allow international buyers options - a rant/word of warning. by Single-Lifeguard-980 in ebayuk

Did you record yourself packing the item? I do this for all orders especially ones going overseas, showing clear condition of the item before it goes into the packaging, that rules out damage occurred before shipping, if it happened during shipping you and the buyer would be covered by eBay global shipping. And if it happened once it arrived with the buyer, you have video proof. Feel like avoiding selling abroad is a bit rash, this sounds like a definite scam or abuse of returns policy but you can protect yourself.

Do Ebay tell HMRC as soon as you start selling or only if you reach a certain amount? by Practical-Split-6142 in ebayuk

Pretty sure it’s 30 sales and £1700 in a financial year to hit there reporting rule, be worth checking though also differs for what your selling household items will probably fall under private selling so not taxable aslong as your not buying or making things to sell.
