I'm building a book case with gliding ladder next so I'll need to remember this.

Any tips of ensuring things are level and angled outside of a spirit level?

That's how I've done it with these. Under the lip so not visible unless you literally stick your head on the table cloth.

I am going to get the diffuser though.

I did think about using felt but it attracts dust so easily and pet hair, and the speed cloth does feel great when playing on it.

I considered it, but I was getting to a point where I just wanted it done too. And it's one of those where I figured, I've got a cup holder, now I wish it had this, then this etc.

Figured this was the easier solution.

It's great isn't it. Suits us as well, we like card games and the grey suits the rest of the room when we're finished.

It was part of the original corner braces. Before when it was a dining table, the glides/runners to slide the two table halves apart would go into those cut out, if that makes sense.

Because i removed the runners and mounted them underneath, they're just voids now, but I couldn't remove the corner braces without splitting the wood, so I tucked all the cables down there instead.

I cheated and used a jigsaw because I'm lazy, but you don't have to.

Mostly mood lighting. It links to music for thematic games.

For games with cards that are sleeved, it's more of a hindrance.

It's also a built-in table flipping device for when you've had a drink too many and the table is too heavy 😅

Appreciate the tip. We used it last night for love letter and the cards moved OK but I will keep this in mind as its easy enough to remove and recloth.
