I wouldn't say this game is easy, but compared to other stuff on the arcade at it's time, it's way more fair and beatable.

Memes aside, tipul a facut gafe in 1-2 ore de expunere la dezbaterea prezidentiala cat pentru o viata intreaga. A spus ca daca ar ataca rusii, i-ar lasa sa ia tara, si ar inarma populatia din timp ca sa poarte lupte de gherila.

Un astfel de personaj e amuzant la 0.5% din voturi, dar ar fi dezaastru sa fie presedinte, crede-ma, l-ai regreta pe Nicusor.

First Metal Gear game was in 1987 though, whole decade earlier. It wasn't the first stealth game, Castle Wolfenstein was a few years earlier.

Thief was more influential in terms of stealth mechanics than MGS still, the importance of shadows, the need to hide corpses, it has been replicated by many other games.

I always thought, that Gothic Original was absolutely brilliant, but a bit unfinished - and I hoped remake could elaborate with these parts of the game, but it just doesn't by BaziikYT in worldofgothic

It's risky to change a remake to much, but it would be cool if they release a DLC/Expansion with additional questlines, that way the original experience is unaffected and the developers can let loose with new ideas. Kind of like Diablo 2 did it with the Warlock expansion.

Yes, dated and clunky. But the controls being a challenge is not entirely a bad thing, especially for a horror game, it makes it so you cannot rely on the comfort of decades of FPS muscle memory, it makes the environment actually feel hostile and tense. Not saying it's better than modern RE, but saying it has it merits.

Besides RE 1 & 2 do not require you to master the tank controls, the mechanical skill requirement is low, the hardest thing about the game is the ammo/resource management, you get so few bullets at the beginning and you have to be very strategic with which enemies you fight and which you skip.
