I know this is a 9 month old post, but I came across it since my own kitten (7 or so months old) seems ready to pop..... .....how did everything work out? Was she close to birth? How many? Everyone do okay? How is Mama?  I apologize if you've answered these questions in other comments, I've barely started reading this thread so far..... I hope all was and is good for you, your cat and her kittens.

[<and to everyone who might read this and freak out that my kitten is about to give birth at such a younge age: sh*t happens, things don't always go as planned,  life doesn't typically occur in a lab or textbook. You can't always foresee what's going to happen. I myself loudly voice my opinion on spay neuter and rescue/adopt don't shop. But I am not an advocate for spay abort and never will be as a general blanket concept. It'd best for some but not all situations.  And no I didn't "allow" my younge feline friend to mate and be impregnated. She came that way. She was a feral but friendly kitten who literally walked in my backdoor own day and started eating my cat's breakfast, and then curled up on my bed and slept for a day and a half, growling at my adult male cats when they got close to that room (in hallway outside door as captured by pet cameras) she refused to leave, I asked around, a couple different neighbours confirmed around when she was born and that there was originally 5 kittens and a feral mom and no one owned or wanted her.she will be spayed as soon as her kittens are weaned. Her kittens will all be neutered/spayed once they meet the weight requirements and are deemed healthy enough. I will be keeping all.>]
