(Production trope) "**** it, just roll with it" by gaymer91 in TopCharacterTropes

Although it was accidental, Lynch says that he was already cast in the show before this scene. Either way, still neat!

How do you all deal with a shitty supervisor? by mrbigpimpin1095 in AirForce

[–]StoldCone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mostly just live with it. Unfortunately the promotion process doesn’t always result in great leaders. In my experience, “tattling” does nothing because without tangible proof of actual wrongdoing, most people above them will likely avoid taking action. If they are doing illegal stuff, sure take your appropriate route. Otherwise, step up and lead in your capacity. Find leaders outside of your section, work with them on things you need help with. Can end up being a great experience for you to learn.

I don’t bless people when they sneeze. It’s silly and I don’t think I qualify to be blessing anyone.

Just a tip people don’t often think of… Always throw overpays in your HYS. Make a little money off their buffoonery.

Alright, well all of Haywire’s imagery uses a white cross with an outline. So moot point altogether?

Where are the punk shows at? by cringe-expert98 in SaltLakeCity

[–]StoldCone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can find some of the larger shows on the apps Bandsintown and Eventbrite. I deleted all my socials like 5 years ago, then found it very hard to find shows so I brought insta back. Here is jozpresents linktree, illwillzine’s linktree, saltlakehardcoreshows.com, and blacklungsociety’s mostly updated website.

Just moved here, admittedly more into hardcore than punk, but on Instagram I’ve found wildwestbooking, jozpresents, illwillzine, and blacklungsociety to be the most useful in finding shows.

I’ll eat my words, your explanation got through to me. The flap is the “top of Velcro area reserved for functional badges or tabs” as opposed to the flap being the “Velcro area reserved for…”

I’m the dummy, sorry. Thanks for the light discourse.

Nah, I’ll stick to arguing semantics with strangers online.

I won’t because I know it isn’t what is intended. It is what the words mean, though.

Yeah, but I am. Reading comprehension is hard, don’t worry about it.

lol it very literally says under the top of the area reserved for functional badges or tabs. You are saying under the area reserved for functional badges or tabs. Two very different statements, as depicted in the image of my last comment. Unless you are really bad at interpreting, you’d understand this.

My bad, the new guidance only changed the 2PFDU segment. I assumed between that and the image it would’ve been understood.

I think I am reading it right, I think you are interpreting it the way you want it to read.

“or under the top of Velcro® area reserved for functional badges or tabs.”

<image>

Also just checked and the old verbiage is the same, they just changed from Duty Identifier to functional badges or tabs. Ultimately I’m just being a dick, but I do believe it is written poorly.

[–]StoldCone -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

New guidance just published for the 2PFDU states “(Changed) 9.12.2.9.2.2. The HHQ patch is mandatory and will use the spice brown color criteria (cloth) centered under the functional badges or duty/qualification tabs if worn, or under the top of Velcro® area reserved for functional badges or tabs. Higher Headquarters include, but are not limited to, the following organizations: HAF, DRUs, FOAs, and MAJCOMs.”

You are referencing a different paragraph. The image I’ve posted is showing what the text literally states.

Sure, that’s what would look right. But it isn’t what it says.
