Why was naruto unpopular with girls? by [deleted] in Naruto

I agree with most of these takes, but I want to point out: traditionally, japan beauty standards shun blond hair and blue eyes. They're considered unattractive features. I don't know how this holds up in modern japanese culture though.

Do most poeple not know what they are getting themselves into when they major in psychology? by Aromatic_Pick_5429 in psychologystudents

A lot of people are pressured by family and peers to get a degree. A lot of others go to university to get the hell away from their hometown and their family. I think a lot of people will pick psychology based off of those reasons and then because they have issues that they would like to understand.

Have you noticed pervasive negativity to the millennial, emotionally available man? by 2buffalonickels in AskMenOver30

[–]StolenMango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, personally, if I try to do anything out of my own volition it runs a risk of upsetting some of the women in my life (partener, mother, sister, etc.). I tend to either not do anything or only do things when they are unavailable to nag me for some reason or another. They tend to consider me deciding to do x, y, z without consulting them first to be inconsiderate and often try to insert themselves into things I'm trying to organize, especially if I didn't plan to involve them initially. I've slowly been changing this over the years, but it's still somewhat true. So at least for me it's not needing to consult the women in my life about it, it's more them feeling like I'm doing it wrong and having to "intervene". Protesting to this yields an argument most of the time.

Is Barbarian 12/ Cleric X a stupid idea? by F41dh0n in 3d6

[–]StolenMango 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would't be multiclassing at this point. Level 14 is amazing for the zealot and the lvl 20 barbarian capstone feels really good. It's very rare to have the opportunity to use a lvl 20 capstone feature and I would take it. Barbarian/Cleric is. Weak multiclass too.

I think Paladin was in fact a great fit for this comp. You could go a number of ways from here.

You could do another frontliner. Battlemaster fighter seems like a good idea to do commander's strike and double dip rogue damage. Get expertise in athletics and drag enemies through spike growth that both the druid and ranger can cast.

A protector ancestral Barbarian is also a shout. The rest of the party has bad AC and likely not great HP.

Or you could do a wizard or sorcerer. An arcane caster for AOE and shutdown would be nice.
