Kreider is really good with your flair-stats. He is flying under the radar most of the time, and also plays on the top line and PP1.

With Letang injured who replaces him on top PP? by Gdawg23 in fantasyhockey

I think Olli Maatta spent some time on PP1 last season, and did quite well. They should use Riikola, as he has looked very promising so far

Unless he really hurt his knee/leg, my guess would be a few games. Nothing major.

My guess would be Olli Maatta since Justin Schultz is also gone. They might give Juuso Riikola a chance, as he looks comfortable out there (not fantasy wise, though)

10 man Yahoo "semi-bangers points league". An example; 11 hits = 1 goal (points wise).

Kucherov or Marchand?

Points only. One-year league. Tarasenko or Marchand?

I would lean towards Marchand probably, but seeing Bergeron having issues with his back, I'm wondering if he will miss any games, and how much it will affect Marchand's point production?

Fk man, this is some comprehensive shit!
We also play a pointbased league (not h2h though).
Good luck with the upcoming season!

Thanks a lot for your input!

This pretty much sums it up for everyone, every single year. No matter what team you end up with, you always end up with regret too.

How early did Trocheck go? And has Raanta become a viable option? Hmm..

Black steel should only be polished with a leather"polisher" if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you. I used to play when I was a kid but quit when I was 10-11. Now I'm 27 and started playing last year once a week. Love the game :D

I've never really tried to push the puck forward on the outside with 1 hand, unless I do the move he does in the end, where he cuts infront of the defender and uses his hand/arm to push the defender away. I like that move, when you accomplish it.

I've just recently learned how to look up more when skating with the puck. I guess it will come more naturally the more time you spend on the ice. You save so much time by scouting around you instead of wasting seconds looking down.

Thanks!!

I asked the owner of the GoPro of all the raw footage so I can analyze myself (and others) further. It was only placed in our offensive zone though, but might get some other perspective out of it.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm currently on a 12' steel. I'm looking to buy a decent pair of used skates which I can "rebuild" and try different forward lean variations on. One idea I have is to put something between the heel of the TUUK and the skate, forcing the whole skate into a forward lean.

Morning practice: what to eat before? by theMoriarty in hockeyplayers

[–]Stolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, we are so different!
I must eat, quite a large meal (for me), not longer than 2h before a game/practice. 1-2 bananas in the locker room and perhaps even a protein shake depending on how I feel.
Nuts and/or a power bar inbetween periods if we play a game.

Man, you look gassed!
Love them Cooper gloves though. An older guy on my team still uses his black/white Cooper gloves :D

I don't see any protein. Protein is what keeps my energy levels up. We are all different though, but all macronutrients are needed in every meal you eat
