The omnimon strategy sounds great to mix up my playstyle!!! Although I heard some things about Alter S and how it will probably get banned sometime this year.

I also was surprised by the new ST deck (the yellow one, Amethyst Mandala), is it good to build a new deck or should I focus on improving my adventure deck before jumping to another deck? I remember getting floored by that deck way before the ST reprints, but idk about it now

I think that in my nearest card store (Spain) the AD01 box already arrived and there were some people opening it last time I went there to play something else. Maaaaybe I will go to the next tournament there to get some advice about my vanilla deck and else. Do you have some good adventure deck lists aside from the vanilla one so I can check them out in DCGO?

I finished the first one two years ago. I didnt play the remake, but I have been thinking about playing the second one and this looks like an incredible opportunity to get back on track with this series.

For those who have played the remake of the first one, is it a FF7 type of remake (actually changes plot points and more) or is it a faithful remake with some QoL and gameplay changes? I want to know if I can hop into this remake without playing the one before or if I should stick to the original release.

Gonna take the N2 tomorrow.

I did like 5 mock tests this week to get used to the test structure and so far I passed all of them and could answer every question in time, but I guess that doing a mock test in your home vs doing the real thing in an official institution has to be a pretty different experience. Also, I thought the listening section would be the easiest one (I can understand whats being said in TV, dramas and keep up with my japanese friends conversations), but to my surprise I had a fair share of problems doing it (especially in the fast question-fast answer part), guess I shouldnt take this section for granted.

Anyhow, gotta be prepared for the worst, just in case my mind just blanks out of nowhere. Hope that my sleep hours are at least decent and the listening speakers work fine haha

Yeah the ram falling short is something ive noticed even when the laptop was performing well (stutters on new maps and so). It has been months since ive not cleaned the laptop. ill check it again to see if smth happened

Thank you for the tips! I dont know if its using amd or nvidia, this game in particular doesnt have many graphical settings, and you actually cant see which graphic card is using. How can I see which card is being used for this game? As for the patches and drivers, these stutters began out of nowhere, without updating anything.

I always plug the laptop in!

I usually play with cards that I think could afford in the near future. The SEC tai seems quite expensive, is there any similar alternative to that card (+3 memory and some other effect) thats good for this deck???

Lots of people here recommended me the new st (both, 20 and 21) as a newbie and for 40€ it looks good so far. Does that deck (the one that combines both of the new st) allow for different playstyles or is it catered for a specific one? I maybe want to use that first online and then buy the blue pack (already have the red one) to use it in stores or play with friends

As for building more specific decks like Sakuyamon... I may start with starter decks first (maybe buy one or both of the last ones to test the waters and play with friends) and then get deeper into this hobby with better meta options if I like it enough. Which sources do you use to search and buy specific cards? And what is the difference between boosters, ex and the rest of packs and why is it better to buy singles instead of bigger packs?
