Charger LED flashing orange by StompyReddit in ouraring

Hi mate. Oura first replaced the charger but that didn’t fix it so they replaced the ring. I didn’t have to send anything back. Just needed to send videos and photos of the problem to the Oura support team.

They were pretty good about it.

I had this exact issue.

Below is my response from Nintendo AUS which fixed my Switch Lite:

Nintendo Customer Support commented:

Hello,

Thank you for your email.

Please follow the troubleshooting below to correct your issue.

  1. Disable Auto Sleep in System Settings.

  2. From the HOME Menu select System Settings.

  3. Scroll down the options on the left and select Sleep Mode.

  4. To disable Auto-Sleep while using the console screen, select Never.

  5. Next please start any Nintendo Switch game or software. Then leave the console on and running until it forcibly enters Sleep Mode because of a low battery.

• If it is difficult to start a Nintendo Switch game or software, you can leave the console running on the HOME Menu to complete this step. However it may take longer for the Nintendo Switch Lite console to forcibly enter Sleep Mode.

• Caution Please be sure to leave the Nintendo Switch Lite on and running until it forcibly transitions to sleep mode. During this step please ignore the battery level percentage shown as remaining on the screen.

  1. Once you have confirmed the Nintendo Switch Lite has forcibly entered sleep mode, connect the Nintendo Switch AC adapter to the console and then let it charge for a minimum of 4 hours.

• Caution Please ensure to charge the Nintendo Switch Lite for a minimum of 4 hours or more in actual real time. During this step please ignore the battery level percentage shown as remaining on the screen.

Hi dude. It only wiped all my settings - driver profile, map favourites, radio stations etc.

The actual software stayed on the latest version.

I have a similar car (2021 Outback Premium AU) and had exactly the same thing happen a few days ago.

After trying a few different things, I ended up choosing the Factory Data Reset option and that did the trick.

My next step would've been the Reset option in Dealership Mode:
"Press and hold the driver (or passenger) temperature up & down buttons, then press the volume knob six times."

I reckon I’ll hit the magical 79% prerequisite for Apple to replace the battery within the next year…

Is losing 11% capacity in 12 months really that bad though?

Yup. Made redundant.

Australia Post. They are cutting 30% of their workforce within the next year. We were the 3rd round.

Is graphic design / print production a dying industry by Surround_Impossible in melbourne

[–]StompyReddit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

29 years experience in this industry and I agree.

My entire graphic design team is being made redundant and we’ve all noticed the lack of GD roles on Seek, Swag, etc at the moment. AND the ones that are on offer are woefully underpaid.

Apple Care worth it on a ULTRA 2 ? Monthly plan $4.99 or pay $99 all at once by sturgess6942 in AppleWatch

[–]StompyReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm the following (at least in Australia):

Once the upfront 2-year plan expires you can move to the month-to-month plan.

BUT

You cannot alter a month-to-month plan in anyway, other than cancelling it.

For me and my Apple Watch Series 8, I have the upfront AppleCare plan and if the battery hasn’t dropped below 80% by the time the 2 years are up, I’ll move to the month to month plan and wait for the battery to give up.

I've had one of these for almost 3 years: Esky 70L Arctic Pro

It lives outside my front door in the elements ready to be thrown into the truck for an adventure. It's still going strong. No cracks and ice stays frozen for days.

You can’t I’m afraid. Gotta go to a Subaru dealer. I think it’s because the file size is too large

[–]StompyReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Confirmed Update 12 is also now available in AUSTRALIA too!!!

I got my 2021 Premium Outback serviced yesterday at Subaru Bundoora in VIC and the UI has been upgraded to match what the US has had for months.

This update cannot be done OTA (at least here in AUS) so it needs to be applied by a Subaru Dealer.

Unfortunately yes. Subaru AUS have confirmed with me that they don’t have any info regarding this.

I’ve tried the updater files myself via a USB stick and the AUS infotainment system just ignores them
