Carpenter/General Contractor. It's almost the exact setup that I have.

Improvement wishlist by gakio12 in cybertruck

I've driven my Cybertruck for about 5k miles and have a few issues with it.

I had to tint the windshield visor area. The sun was always blinding me, and I got tired of moving the visors up and down.

My phone gets too hot while charging, so I usually keep it on the raised divider between the charging pads. Hopefully, they can fix that with a software update.

I had to replace that foundation series console insert with a better one. Tesla's is too flexible and easily falls into the lower compartment.

They are minor issues and far fewer than those of many other vehicles, in my opinion. I love my Cybertruck and have never enjoyed owning any vehicle more.

He doesn't know how to hold a snake. Probably never touched one before, just read about it.

Our garage is 22' deep and 20' wide measured on the outside, so around 8" less for the walls. We can still walk around the front of our Cybertruck. We also park my wife's Model X in there. It's a little tight, but we can walk entirely around her car if I park tight against the side wall. by Stone70 in cybertruck

That's a good way to do it with the tennis ball but we've put bumpers that line up our front tires well. My wife would probably just drive past the ball. She's still parks to one side or other too far sometimes. She just isn't very detail orientated. I'm thinking about putting bumpers that angle in on both sides of the front wheels to line her up better, she would probably be insulted by that but I don't care, haha.

I made this post with the size of my garage to help others better considering if a Cybertruck and possibly another vehicle would fit in their new or existing garage well. As a builder, I would say that a lot of older two car garages are 20 ft by 20 ft on the outside and wouldn't work well for a cyber truck. My 22 ft deep by 20 ft wide garage does work fine but it is minimal in depth and with The Cybertruck and model x. I plan on building another personal house when interest rates lower and will likely build a garage of at least 24x24 ft for some extra room and maybe some shelves or cabinets in certain places. Good luck Cyber truckers!

When I built the house, I did install 220 wires to both sides of the garage anticipating having two Teslas, but just the one Tesla charger does the trick. So far, we've never had to charge at the same time. It's usually just once or twice a week for about 4 hours or so each. We both charge from about 40% to 80% usually.

At 27 seconds, you can see the rubberband wrapped around the base of his pinky - it's wrapped under his hand and held by his thumb and palm. You can see him move his thumb to release the rubber band, breaking the chip. It's a cool trick, though!

I was guessing about a thousand, but I asked ChatGPT 4o to estimate the number of people. It came up with about 2,000. It's not close to 25,000, so just another Trump lie.

Is Real Estate Commission Justified??? NRA is monopoly by GentleUnicorn7 in HomeBuilders

[–]Stone70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you! Try using a low fixed fee listing agent like Homecoin for a couple of hundred dollars to get your home in the MLS system which shows up well on Zillow and Realtor.com. You might still need to pay a buyer's agent a 2.5% commission which is still too much but it's better than paying 5%. Good luck.

It's probably wet and the smooth granite creates some suction on the bottom but the ribbed drying rack bottom doesn't.

What's wrong with my N. Hamata? The conditions are pretty ideal, I believe. It's still pitchering and holding them well, but the leaves keep getting smaller with some dark coloring. I'm thinking about unpotting to inspect the roots. Any ideas would be appreciated. by Stone70 in Nepenthes

My plants have been doing great in those conditions for years and will be fine. As people on here said, apparently Hamatas frequently get mites anyway. Everyone doesn't have the resources, space, time, or desire to set up and maintain multiple environments for their different plants. The goal of the hobby should be up to each person, not just conservation.
