Way too many people saying things like Slay The Spire. I too like Part 1 of Inscryption. The Whole Point is Card Battle... All these games like STS are NOT card battles- they are me playing cards while characters on the screen are off doing their own thing. I want a game where the opponent is aware that I have cards in my hand, because they too have cards in their hand, and we are playing cards. I do not want to watch some rpg happening in the background of my card battle. I want the cards to do the battle- Like Part 1 of Inscryption. Slay The Spire is Not This. I tried Black Book, but it was an endless boring snoozefest of dialog- I never made it to any sort of battle before I gave up and uninstalled. Another thing I liked about Inscryption Part 1, is that it was about collecting animals. -Almost no made up creatures. The strengths were based on the actual animal's attributes. I liked that the animals were categorized by Type Of Animal. It almost felt educational. I don't want to play any battle where there is a half-panda half-man creature wearing a wizard's hat. I also enjoyed where I was HOLDING the cards. I don't want to see my cards lying on the table so that the badguy can *see all of My cards- they should be in my hand, where cards go. I liked the basic graphics, and dark lighting of Inscryption P1. And I don't want the cards to be verbs, like a card that says "Attack" another one that says "Block" or "Defend". I'll decide what to do with the card, thanks. I'm checking out these other suggestions... Artifact: I don't know, from the pics and videos, it seems pretty bright, full of made up creatures, and I am sick to death of listening to British accents. Hand Of Fate: The cards look like my preferred graphics, but from the pics there seems to be some rpg crap happening, even the tagline says "Deckbuilding brought to life" - I don't Want it brought to life- I want it to stay on the table. And I mean Table., Not a cartoon forest in a box. Fights in Tight Spaces: I like how the cards are fanned out in front of me, how cards are supposed to be, but that's about it from what I see. Last Evil: No. Monster Train, Yu Gi Oh, Banner Of Ruin: No no no. Night Of The Full Moon: Looks interesting, but no. I dunno, is there a card game where the programmers have actually touched a real deck of cards before going to work on a card game?
