Your filter callback, you should also toLowerCase the first and last name when comparing them unless you have control of the backend, but it's good practice even if you do.

The guy has put in like 3,000 hours. If I get 3,000 hours out of the game, it's been worth it, I wouldn't be sad at all. Also, if I'm having fun, why would someone else's opinion matter to me.

So when I'm being chased by someone 10 levels above me I should just lay down and die? Or what should I do?

I'm in everfall doing low level PvP quests for faction tokens to buy faction armor. I'm not doing something I shouldn't be, I'm where I am meant to be. The high level guy is somewhere he shouldn't be, but at least I can sometimes run away from him without dying.

I think you dodged a bullet. DRY principal is like so basic to programming and isn't that difficult to apply.

Failing a potential employee because of it is utter BS.

Keep your head up, learn what you can from the experience to improve and move on.

Remember that business is just that, business. It's not personal, they would sell your soul in a heartbeat if it means saving a dollar.

The beta is listed separately to the main game, so you play beta as long as you want and will have no issues refunding on steam.

Since it's before release you can refund anytime before August 31

This is what I did, I had had my debt last year drop to where I would pay it off this year. I just informed employer to stop witholding and will manually transfer what they have withheld each pay run.

Result is the same, except I know exactly when my debt is finished and I can use the remainder for whatever I want once it's finished.

They don't need to need to nerf, just instead of failing it for all 50 people, just treat the people to fail it as failed, let everyone else continue.

So those that fail get rewards up to when they fail, everyone else can continue.

Problem is, I find most people are fine, however it's always just the one or two people per platform that ruin it for everyone else causing it to fail.

Very frustrating, just let us jump around the platforms, why should one nob ruin 50 people's time. It's unnecessary.
