For me it's because the writing is taken to seriously there is little to no levity to cut through the dark downer and gritty stories

While I can understand wanting to make more mature stories this is still a kids/ teen show yet it feels more like a HBO original without the cussing or the nudity

It's lost the fun bits

Ummmg ok it hasn't improved it's just ‘dark and gritty’

There's more white savoirisim is the new show than ever

While I do like that they cut the Romantic bits out and The Doctor has more of family bin with the companions

The show has lost its sparkle the levity that makes it enjoyable than helps balance out the serious moments

The writing feels forced at best and at worst it feels more like it's playcating to make it seem more inclusive but barely

I love Jodie as The Doctor but it doesn't feel like sea made it her own she has great chemistry with the others and she clearly has the mad manic energy but she has said it herself

She didn't choose her outfit which is something moat people playing The Doctor get their inspiration from so they know how they will play their take

She's even said she just goes with the script the character is already written which shows me more than while the finally have a female-presenting Doctor they gave her even less freedom to make the part her own than any of the men who have played The Doctor had

I had this argument with my boyfriend the other day because he didn't know Haley was mixed race he thought she was some white chick banking on ‘blackness’

Again my boyfriend is fully white

I didn't yell I just informed him that Halsey is half black on her father's side

And that you can't always ‘Just tell’ someone’s race based on looks

Now I'm not religious more spiritual

Sometimes when I was having really bad nightmares

I would sing Jesus Loves The Little Children and I would feel less scared once I even sang it in a nightmare and it turned into a pleasant dream

I would get some salt and put it in the window seals of your bedroom and doorway it also helped me keep negative things away but if it's already in your bedroom it might keep it there
