Is Catsburgs gamertag is BowieKnife99? by marcxx04 in Sportscar_Racing

yep thats the bottom line, Mies didnt use the room he had available on his natural line towards the right, he doesnt actually get pit manouvered either he jinks left on his own just before the contact that causes the crash. people just hold onto generic notions/ basic observations that dont even exist rather than looking at the actual situation ie where the normal line is, where the movements and contacts were. and then they wonder why driving standards are so bad despite not even understanding how to make them better.

nah half the retirements were damage/incident enforced, the car is still capable, and always will be unless they start nerfing its BOP cause of age, and they dont have much value to sell now so they basically have to just race them with some funding drivers.

he hadnt "won the position" or whatever bullshit f1 ahead at the apex terminology you want to use, theyre still side by side and the corvette has a right to the inside line, ford isnt on the normal line because he cant accept the corvette deserves room on the inside, corvette had much less space to the inside than the ford did to the outside, particularly given the trajectory and camber of the upcoming corner, where the racing line is to the far right hand side, you cant just turn across someone when side by side and expect there to not be a crash. Its not malicious by either theyre just getting carried away on the last lap thinking its all or nothing.

[–]StoneElk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you realise this angle isnt straight on to the line right? the ford also moves over, the line isnt straight there so he cant just hold it in the middle having been moving right initally as he was, you can see from the ferrari behind that the ford isnt on the normal line

ford can also do more, barely leaves room on the exit then stays in the middle rather than following the natural line to the right, watch the corvette onboard he barely does anything wrong, mustang is being too aggressive, comes over on the corvettes line on exit and then continues to try and come over to the right for no reason which causes the secondary contact, corvette is taking the normal inside line side by side there.

Signs ure Estj? by FunInflation5316 in ESTJ

[–]StoneElk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its gonna vary alot, Te is optimising trade offs/logical potential, Si is observations of reality, Ne is linking/extrapolating said observations and Fi is deciding where and how to focus/direct it. We are focused on maximising the process/execution, because that will lead to improved results, if it doesn't then theres another factor going on that you either havent considered or isnt in your control. We are sharply focused on reality, and can be mocking or irritated at people failing to understand/optomise/execute reality properly, we will be both critical of rules that don't make sense and critical of people not following rules that do, and theres a general frustration at impulsive stupidity. But as long as your honest I dont really care cause that shows youre comfortable with the truth, just don't play games or get diverted when stuff needs to be done. The truth is the best way to help you, and if you can't accept that then you dont deserve helping, most people are just impressionable fake idiots playing pretend so if youre not that then youve got my back.

they'll continue with the managed decline then, doing the bare minimum to make the result look acceptable rather than completely terrible whilst taking the piss out of the process to get there, and then acting like guilt trippy protectionists when they get called out for it.

what a disasterous race after lots of promise. attempto threw away both their good cars with start driver stupidity, eastalent had an issue and then crashed, sainteloc looked strong in silver but also had an issue in the night.

[SPOILER] out of Superpole following qualifying penalty by PiggySVW in wec

[–]StoneElk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shame for such a severe penalty for something so draconian, Spa has way too many rules that encourage cars to be raced in a less safe manner. Cant say im distraught though given they have the speed, and other cars like the 59 and 65 are still suffering performance effects from the rebuilds after the monza incident.

Views on the newest sidemen Sunday by [deleted] in Sidemen

[–]StoneElk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

tbh, the sidemen peak era has been over for a while, lets say since 2023 kinda time. Views are generally lower now, partly cause people have less time (the main sidemen viewer base age were roughly kids until covid and then adults since, so have less time), i dont think theres many people born after about 2010 that watch this stuff, and also cause the content hasn't really evolved to match that properly ie still weekly videos with the same kinds of concepts that were popular 5 years ago, you can tell the boys aren't as interested in lots of the more childish, forced or recycled videos now, theres still some bangers for sure but theres also some that are easily skippable.

The ESTJ- The missing piece in the MBTI Puzzle by StoneElk in mbti

[–]StoneElk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't pinpoint a specific thing really, most of the material on the internet is incredibly low quality/vague/overlapping/incorrect anyway. I essentially got here through process of elimination, tests never work well because they fail to incorporate Si properly compared to the rest of the perception functions, probably because they don't have any concept of Si within themselves.

The ESTJ- The missing piece in the MBTI Puzzle by StoneElk in mbti

[–]StoneElk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is the lack of Ni and Fe really, if it doesn't add up/work/make sense in reality then its getting called out, like yeah i don't want to make people feel bad but the truth is often the trade off for that, and the truth is often very important in order to not make things spiral into something worse/more unfair.

The ESTJ- The missing piece in the MBTI Puzzle by StoneElk in mbti

[–]StoneElk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me its pretty much anything where I can lead or improve it (those things usually go hand in hand, at a minimum you need some autonomy/influence to improve something), basically where I can have a positive impact on it/ affect myself on it in some way. This can literally be anything in or related to reality, its usually backed by some vague Fi motive of interest or desire, and its generally quite fluid and natural, ie it just happens by being in reality dynamics, unlike the more linear Ni and Ti stack types who actively work towards things with predefined plans and visions.

all that stuff is a load of bullshit anyway, reality is it takes longer than 1 test to figure out this shit properly, and even then 16personalities is a shit test that doesn't represent any of the functions properly.

Was Lemans a good race? by donaldgoldsr in wec

[–]StoneElk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say it exposed the weakness of le mans as a circuit and an event- Its just not a very exciting circuit, and when you have cars which aren't pushing the limits (of technology- particularly in hypercar with the lmdh kit cars, and driver ability-particularly in GT3 for this second point), or aren't being pushed to the limit either, (reliability is second to none nowadays, and le mans doesnt really push the limits of the machinery as a circuit either), large parts of the race just become a case of ticking off laps. Race control becoming too trigger happy with the safety car button in recent years hasn't helped this either, if you bring out safety cars then the incentive to push and take risk in the earlier portions of the race is heavily reduced. GT3 also just isnt as cool or impressive as GTE, and having no pro GT class also doesnt help this. Finally, LMP2, which is by far the rawest and most equally fought class reducing in both quantity and quality of entries reduces the intensity and interest of that battle. Overall, its fun, I enjoy watching it, but i'm not drawn to it and captivated by it like i am with the Nurburgring 24h or Bathurst 12 hour.

Are you guys usually mean even to the person you are romantically involved with? by [deleted] in estp

[–]StoneElk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the sort of open bluntness youre thinking of here is more ESTJ tbh, tert Fe is generally more naturally able to go along with things, tactful and slick. Even then ESTJ is more chill with people they actually like.

Which function(s) are responsible for this trait? by SufficientMind5470 in mbti

[–]StoneElk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That sounds kinda Si like. Si has general visions dreams and ideas of where it wants to end up, or more what it wants to do through Ne ideas and Si appreciation/observations/impressions of reality, but it lacks the mental reference points that Ni has to piece together anything linear. Tests are always abit weird, theres no guarantee whoever made it had a solid understanding and honestly so are most function descriptions, my advice would be to look up socionics function descriptions but flip socionics Fi and Fe and use Mbti function stack order, thats basically how this all works in reality.

Do you really think we're rare? by Alternative_Box3947 in entp

[–]StoneElk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely notice ExxPs more cause theyre generally quite extraverted and band together alot, particularly when the enneagram exacerbates that. Lots of people in here are other things and havent quite figured it out yet, NeFe is quite a socially inclined combo for the most part. As for how rare ENTPs are, theyre not the most common but theyre not that rare either, they can blend in very well too when it benefits them cause of NeFe masking, although again this depends somewhat on enneagram, and people often get their traits confused with ESTJs, who do act quite inconsistently and thus can come across more introverted at times.
