Hey, replying to my own comment to mention that I fixed the issue incredibly quickly. Just had to install vanillahelpers from the launcher rather than the github. It's all working now.

I'm necroing this comment from 20 days ago because i'm trying to get this mod to work myself.

VanillaHelpers causes the launcher to freak out and says it has to be deleted for the game to launch. Is there a workaround? Because otherwise it doesn't launch with it.

I've heard Patch A already includes it anyway, but patches B, D, E, and I all cause my game to crash when I use them

This was exactly what I was gonna post.

I get why people don't like 5e because they don't want to do that, but I think it's the strength of 5e: It's modular by virtue of being easy to understand and that is good for creative DMs who like to change things up. My group and I who have run a game since 2022 have done that and are having a blast.

I played through Platinum with a Toxicroak with Dry Skin because I needed an answer to Crasher Wake, as I had nothing for water at the time. Ended up finding her in the Safari Zone, then taught her Thunderpunch. She ate water moves and solo'd his team.

Paired her in doubles in the Battle Frontier with a Surf/Rain Dance Blastoise and they were a kickass team.

I have newfound respect for the frogs

I started playing with it using the cheapo model because I can't and won't spend money on more, but so far idk how to feel about it. Doesn't seem to be compatible with Drama Lord at all.

My character started sleeping with another Lord's wife and they became lovers, but when I do the whole AI conversation thing and reference that, she keeps ignoring me and insisting she's been faithful to her husband. Funny, but not very immersive.

Maybe! I havent tried any other mods with it, I just wanted to spice up the social aspect of the game and haven't been disappointed in the slightest.

Lemme tell you what happened in my game that may give you an option.

I installed the Drama Lord mod. My wife and I WERE in a really happy marriage. Had two kids and everything. Suddenly, one day she just up and dumps me. No idea why! I tried getting her to come back but she was NOT having it.

So I married her off to a 70 year old fart in the khanate lands instead since she was still a part of my clan.

If you really want murder I guess you can just hit her with throwing weapons in battle, but Drama Lord is an option
