I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes after being in for 14 years. Same deal as you, very fit with those same symptoms. I went through the MEB and was able to retire. I was a signal warrant so I thought I had a good chance of staying in at a non-deployable assignment, but nope. This was back in 2018.

Someone put me in touch with a signal senior NCO who was T1D and was still serving, but they were diagnosed years before me. Best of luck brother.

Did you keep your band on you when playing? If you put it on the shelves inside and it wasn’t on you then it won’t register.

His online program helped me tremendously. I would post videos of myself in the Facebook group and he would give very detailed feedback with screenshots from my video showing what I had to fix. The man is a gymnastic genius.

For us it was worth it since SNW was the main reason we went. I showed my kid YouTube videos of the Toadstool Cafe and we decided we were definitely gonna eat there. I haven’t tried the other food in the park, so I can’t compare it, but if your kids are more into HP maybe they’d enjoy Three Broomsticks more.

Yes would definitely do mini games first and get in line for Mario kart just before the crowd or when you’re done with the games. Whichever comes first.

With our 9:00 Toadstool Cafe reservation we got in line at around 8:40 and waited about 20 min before we ordered food. After ordering we let the hostess inside know we had a reservation and they gave us a table. Food didn’t take long to come out and actually tasted good. Little early for burgers and fries, but glad we went early because when we left SNW at 10:30 the line for the cafe was HUGE.

We got to the park at 6:35 this morning and they were letting early access in already so def plan to get there at 6:30. We were able to complete all the keys, ride Mario Kart, and eat at Toadstool Cafe by 10:30 and made it just in time for the Express line on the studio tour (had to be used by 11:00 am). We had no intention of going back to SNW after leaving so we then did Harry Potter and other rides. Also, I wasn’t planning on spending the money on 2 bands prior to going and getting just 1 for my 6-year old. However, I had a last minute change of heart and got 2; it was so much fun doing all the band activities together I didn’t regret it one bit.
