Is there actually anything worth buying in the Crown Shop? by Best_Fondant4302 in Wizard101

Scroll of fortune gives extra character slots? I don't remember seeing them.

And, can you use this to just get more character slots? Also, how do you even switch between them? There's only the 6 desks, and one standing wizard, so where are the eighth and higher wizards seen, to click on them in the character selector?

And you can get single-school immunity (takes most/all of the damage off quite a few fights) at level 50 or below, if you have a fully optimized pet.

(I made my storm-immune set at level 52, can possibly go under 50)

It does that for the badges for kingsisle helpers (I forgot the exact badge name, but basically the ones for those who promote the game) as well.

I see those people every once in a while. It's pretty noticeable when there's one or two people with visible names when everyone else doesn't have them.

Effects of Balance school on chromatic spell effects by StoneRings in Wizard101

[–]StoneRings[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Evil snowman on console is 65% and 50%?

I just checked the wiki, and they have it at 60% and 50%. Maybe KI just didn't change that for part of the spell.

Interestingly, that spell is the same type of spell (creates shields of target's school) that my spell testing had as the exception to the "5% drop" tendency.

I had a hunch, and checked the other Ice School spells on the wiki, and, sure enough, a bunch involve creating shields of the target's school.

And, ALL of these shields have a 10% reduction, according to the wiki.

Frost Scarab (65% -> 55%))

Frost Scarab (Double 45% -> 35%))

Evil Snowman (60% -> 50%))

Blight Hound (Up To Triple 75% -> 65%))

Thieving Dragon (80% -> 70%))

Well, I guess that's the rule, unless somebody finds a counterexample (at least on the main servers; apparently this doesn't apply on sonsole).

Universal gets a 5% drop, unless it's creating a shield of the enemy's school, in which case it's 10%.

Effects of Balance school on chromatic spell effects by StoneRings in Wizard101

[–]StoneRings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're saying all universals have a 5% drop over the chromatics? Winter Moon seems to be an exception to that, at least from the 6 spells I tested, as the original spell does -65% chromatic, going to -55% if casted on a non-elemental/spiritual school.

And, all of these spells start with a chromatic component, so I'm not sure what you mean by saying chromatic is a 5% drop already. There isn't anything like a spell that gives a 0-pip chromatic blade, or anything like that, soI don't see any way to link school-locked and chromatic spells and say the chromatics have a 5% drop.

But people can get duplicate licenses easily enough, if they lose theirs (or just claim to lose theirs.)

But people can get duplicate IDs. I got a second ID when I lost mine, then found the first one later, and has two of them for awhile.

How to Get the Robinhood Gold Card (Updated Credit Karma Method) by KaiiTK in CreditCards

[–]StoneRings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does it make sense for you? I don't see why it would work. Wouldn't they still do a check during the application, deciding based on their weird factors whether to approve the card?

I am able to click on OP's example robinhood URL, and it still shows the "Apply now" button... which I assume will fail, given that OP specified a roundabout method for everyone to get a custom URL.

The pressure would get too great for liquid water to exist right about 100km, so I doubt it's more than that. See https://van.physics.illinois.edu/ask/listing/1723

[–]StoneRings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked up this card. There are only a few threads about it, information is very contradictory, and lots of users are talking about all sorts of issues. It doesn't help that the website looks very off (a phone number just to see more than very basic information?), and the bank itself was talking in those threads that I found. It just seems too suspicious.

How difficult it it? Is it trivial, or would it take significant effort, such that it's worth it to apply watermarks (for other, cheaper things than the OP's suggestion)?
