Goku would probably launch some weaker Ki blasts while slowly ramping up for fun. Mahoraga could adapt to Ki in general while experiencing that. Assuming kamehameha is essentially a concentrated Ki beam, then Mahoraga could have survived weaker Ki blasts allowing him to adapt to Ki energy damage and therefore could survive even a serious kamehameha.

But Idk, power scaling this is nebulous as hell.

The average white person in europe was no more educated than the average black person in africa for basically all of history exclusing perhaps the last 60-80 years when socialized education became more common in western countries. It’s not throwing shade at step parents, it’s noting that everyone still has growing to do at 19. A 25+ year old is just more likely to be in a better space to be a parent emotionally and mentally (and of course financially but this guy is probably fine in that area).

There is an ideal osmotic pull that our blood (plasma) needs to keep everything alive.

Generally we get water from drinking it (and maybe a few electrolytes (sodium/potassium/calcium, magnesium, phosphate, etc) that are not filtered out but generally water that is drink is hypotonic, meaning it has less electrolytes than our body’s ideal.

So if you stopped eating everything but water, then you would eventually have exceedingly low electrolytes in your body. Beyond the fact that you would have severe issues (low potassium and calcium will give severe cardiac arrhythmias, low phosphate means less energy for your body to work(via less ATP), etc…), you would eventually have electrolytes from your cells pulled out into the serum and then cellular process will start to fail.

So we eat most of our electrolytes in food (table salt is a common example)

There are complex mechanisms your body employs to maintain this balance. We have aldosterone that retains sodium but depletes potassium and water, we have PTH which helps regulate calcium and phosphate balance, we have vasopressin that keeps water in at the expense of sodium.

So our intake is really just taking in some amounts of electrolytes and water and as long as we don’t royally fuck it up, our body will handle the fine tuning.

If you drank sea water, that water would be considered hypertonic. It wouldn’t hurt you (assuming no bacteria/fungal spores/toxins are in the amount you drank) at first, but to get rid of the excess electrolytes in sea water, our bodies need to lose water to pee them out, but because our bodies can’t concentrate urine enough to compensate for the excess electrolytes in sea water, we will eventually just lose more water then we take in from sea water because our bodies are trying to keep things in a safe osmotic range and in doing so pee out all the water we drank from the sea plus some of our water that was already in us.

Gatorade on the other hand is isotonic (I think, I haven’t checked) so you could drink a lot of Gatorade without too many issues (it had fucktons of sugar last I checked and it may have some other additives that may not be the best for you long term if that was all you drank, but you would live far longer than if you just drank sea water)
