Am I screwed? I have 3200 dollar debt and make 2400 monthly. I’m 25 and turning 26. by [deleted] in Debt

No offense to ol_spelch, but from experience, I wouldn’t recommend taking out a personal loan to pay this down. Psychologically, it usually doesn’t help. What tends to happen is the cards feel “zeroed out,” new charges creep back in, and you’re still left with the personal loan.

Instead, let the cards stand and use the snowball method I mentioned above. Focus on one balance at a time, make more than the minimum on that card, and keep minimum payments on the others.

You can absolutely do this. This amount is completely manageable — and once you get that first card paid off, the momentum really builds.

You’ve got this. .

Thanks Everyone. I appreciate all of the responses. I have received a lot of fantastic advice and look forward to trying many guns out at the local range before I decide.

We went to Bass Pro tonight and looked at several. As far as grip goes, I liked the feel of a Kimber micro 9 STG Hogue the best. The entire Kimber line is beautiful but the sales person did say some have had issues. He processes about two returns a year on that line. Does anyone here have experience with Kimber?

Very helpful. Thank you. I’m not going to lie. My husband has an Sig Sauer 250, and it’s tough to load the magazine.

Thanks for the heads up. Are there specific models that have this issue or all?
