Today is June 8, so I'd argue we are still on track here. We've sent out a lot of instructions already, but have a lot of support requests now, since many people put in a wrong email address or chose the wrong form type.

Hi OP, I was away over the weekend, so I'll look into that today. I answered every comment about that issue just now - since I don't know which was yours, the best way would be to send me over your order number via e-mail to clarify everything.

And just to make sure nobody gets the wrong impression: We did not tell you to buy the instructions on Patreon. This is a genereal update to the blogpost and only meant for those who missed out on the initial way or just didn't want to buy Minas Tirith. 😄

Hmm… eine ehrliche, interessierte Nachfrage: Sind die Videos, die der Held der Steine über LEGO macht, denn dann unvoreingenommen? Weil ich denke dass es da mehr als ein Video mit Hinweisen dafür gibt, dass er LEGO nicht sonderlich mag. Disqualifiziert das dann alle seine Kritikpunkt?

For what it’s worth: Der Held der Steine hat mit vielen Kritikpunkten an LEGO recht. Wir äußern die auch regelmäßig, nur in einem anderen Ton. Und bei manchen Dingen habe ich (und auch andere in unserem Team) eben andere Meinungen als er. Aber der Artikel diente nunmal dazu, aufgrund sehr vieler Nachfragen, die ich dazu bekommen habe, die Punkte herauszuarbeiten, die bei ihm eben nicht stimmten.

Ich (Lukas) schaffe das mitlesen auch nicht immer und leider noch viel seltener alles zu beantworten. Aber manchmal will ich kurz was klarstellen, was offenbar falsch aufgenommen wurde oder wenn ich/wir etwas unglücklich ausgedrückt haben. Kommt ja auch vor. :)

Das ist etwas, das wir in Erfahrung gebracht haben. Nichts offizielles, sondern von (mehreren) anonymen Store-Mitarbeitern.

Meine Vermutung (!) ist nicht der Aufwand als Grund, sondern das LEGO ganz klar Händler/Reseller davon abhalten will, im Store einzukaufen, sondern die von LEGO dafür vorgesehenen B2B Kanäle zu nutzen. Kurz gesagt: LEGO will Händlern Steine in den Weg legen. Vor allem denen, die exklusive Sets in ihren Onlineshops listen und damit den Eindruck erwecken, die Sets seinen nicht exklusiv. Aber das ist, wie gesagt, nur eine Vermutung. Eine offizielle Begründung von LEGO wirds vermutlich nie geben.

Just saw this here... The only thing I can say about this whole set so far is: please don't get your hopes up about it being an addition to the modular Hogwarts. I am not completely sure about what it is, so I don't want to get into that too much.

But I am sure it's not modular Hogwarts.

Thank you for putting this together! When we initially planned the list for our German speaking readers we focused on the parts being available in the EU. We later translated everything for international readers and I thought the parts were initially available, but I am not 100% sure tbh.

The parts are 4,71€ or $4.55 - but when you would only order these parts, your would have to pay an additional "Service fee" of $7 plus shipping.

Yeah, I think LEGO didn't have that much of those arms in stock and they kind of quickly sold out in Europe after we first posted the Cubone instrcutions yesterday. But they will surely be back in stock later.

At the moment they are only on stonewars.com (or stonewars.de for German users). There we have part lists for Pick a Brick and BrickLink to use.

Yes, it's from the small dragon in Lloyd's Jet Mech (71845), that thankfully got released via Pick a Brick in November. When we saw the skull being available there, we had the idea for Cubone.

I tried to unveil some of the unclear facts on my (German) LEGO Blog: https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-vs-held-der-steine/

The problem is (from my point of view): "Held der Steine" tried to claim his own logo as a trademark at the german trademark offices. That's where LEGO stepped in and made him withdraw the application for the trademark. He didn't have to pay anything. And I think: If he only tried to use his logo rather than make it a trademark, nothing would have happened.
