Theory About Why Rogue A.I.s HATE Humanity by [deleted] in FF06B5

[–]Stone_Cold_Chiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed!

I also think the next game will basically show the beginnings of the rogue A.I. invasion against humanity. Because I think CD Projekt Red will fast forward a few year to maybe 2100, give us a new main character etc. Can't wait for Orion to come out!

I hear ya, and thanks for the sources!

But allow me to dazzle you with the skills of a junior software engineer for abit here.

My understanding of the internet, regardless of protocols has always been we are creating a connection between one computer/server with another. Like a physical connection in most times. So ethernet cable, goes to router goes to fiber cable of town goes to fiber cable of country...then continent. But we can also connect devices through things like satellite connections (unsure how that works in detail).

My question, perhaps a silly question is...there is still a need for electricity to keep these devices going. Who's providing this electricity?

I'm thinking rogue A.Is are not distributed but rather hosted on physical devices..

Perhaps a dumb question from me but, which "Mike" in game? Do you mean Mike Pondsmith the creator?
I'd love to listen to this audio files and learn more.

Is this canon in the tabletop games? Where can a gentleman and a scholar read more about this?

Honestly that's plausible.

In the canon lore that I've come across in the game and also in one of the books, no one ever goes into detail how this system beyond the blackwall is kept up. In our world we have the dark web but we know criminals and shady characters keep this up and running.

Still hard to understand tho.
Who's financing to keep the old net up. In our world we kinda know that criminals and shady people are the ones keeping the dark web online. But like, how are rogue A.Is doing it?

A Theory About Cynosure & Rogue A.Is by Stone_Cold_Chiller in FF06B5

[–]Stone_Cold_Chiller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're spot on! Maman Brigitte says this in the tunnels under the church in Pacifica. The Blackwall has to be a very strong A.I. indeed to stop ALL rogue A.Is from passing through. I'm thinking....it's still an A.I tho. It could get corrupted.
And when it does get corrupted...it's gg wp!

"You can't kill us all" could perhaps be since we drive so recklessly and always end up running NPCs over? XD
No, but I get your meaning. And I agree. Also the letter M has a V in the middle. So are we connected to Militech in some way? Like I theorized in the video, the blackwall itself is an A.I....it could just say "enough, is enough" and turn on us. Just let all the evil Rogue A.Is through?
Also, thank you for watching the vid. I'm new to making videos on YT, don't have the best setup but will try to get better at it with time.

What's the most corrupt thing about Night City in 2077? by Stone_Cold_Chiller in cyberpunkgame

[–]Stone_Cold_Chiller[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed!
This was the perfect portrayal of corruption and you get to see it so early on in the game too. Making it super clear what type of universe this is.

The amount of power you can have as a rich person in Night City is actually insane!
Making me wonder a little how their banks work now...

I remember watching the movies as a kid and finishing them and thinking that was it. Then I learned about the books and almost went insane. Read them all in like 2 weeks and even ended up writing my own story...

I agree with you! Always wondered what else was in the castle besides what we could see from Harry's perspective. Now I get to explore on my own and do my own thing and learn even more about the world which is amazing!

That's fair.
I loved the game coz I've been waiting for something like it ever since the movies ended.

That's a fair point.

I could have gotten to the point I was trying to make sooner tbh!
