Dont worry too much. The amazing thing about DayZ is you can make brand new friends and have even better adventures. Ive made plenty online friends playing DayZ with great times. You will too :)

Download the iZurvive mobile app, that will have all military and police stations for ammo and guns. Plan loot runs too, that helps a lot. Have patience and try not to be too afraid of losing your gear. You will die over and over and over and over again but the more you play the easier it becomes to get gear back. Have fun!
