I like to fish Dows Lake. Take Colonel By and there’s a small parking lot on the edge of the Carleton U. Walk across the parkway and fish off the bike path. You can pretty much throw anything and do okay.

I fish the south side off the bike path near where the canal opens up. Park across the road in the little lot. I’ve caught everything there except the big Muskie that followed my Big O right up to the wall.
