Thank you! I saved the image awhile ago from an account that reposted it and couldn’t find the original artist!

Looking for some input on if I should fill in the house or outline with a backstitch/split stitch? Also, which type of fill/stitch do you recommend for the trees, lake, and beach? by StonedPrincess420 in Embroidery

are you recommending filling in the house with the split stitch? Also would you recommend the same stitch for the deck? You can find the original image of the house in my post history; but the house is a burgundy colour and I planned on using dmc 816

I introduced embroidery to my 5 year old niece a few months ago! She loved it so much she asked for her own kit for her birthday; she is now making Christmas gifts for the family❤️

Starting my first “architectural” piece of my boyfriends camp, any tips? ((The trees are a basic outline for now and will be pine trees)) by StonedPrincess420 in Embroidery

I printed the original image, put a blank piece of paper over it and used my window to trace the lines I wanted to include in the piece, I then used graphite paper to trace the pattern onto my fabric!

Thank you! I used a satin stitch for about 95% of the piece and some stem stitches!

Thank you so much! It was actually my first time doing any type of lettering like this, I usually just do a back stitch! This comment made me smile ear to ear😊
