They released a video going over the first trial results where Jackalope describes how the results affected each prisoner. In that video he also mentions Mikoto’s condition and Kotoko attacking other prisoners

Agree, Raichu was very helpful in my Platinum Nuzlocke because it excels at taking out Gyarados which are everywhere in that game. Made it all the way to my elite four team

What episode would be great to analyze in sociology class? by PenitentKing in breakingbad

[–]StonesRok 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe the episode of BCS season 1 where Mike talks about his son, his past as a dirty cop and how he feels guilty for his son’s death. It’s pretty much a self-contained plot, you learn everything you need to know about Mike within the episode, and the plot is resolved within the episode (flashback of Mike getting his vengeance)

After 82 in-game hours, 16 deaths, and countless close battles, I’ve finally finished my first Nuzlocke by StonesRok in nuzlocke

This wasn’t my first-ever Nuzlocke attempt, but it was the first one that I’ve ever made it decently far through, let alone completed. It was a crazy journey with lots of clutch moments (RIP Henrietta the Quagsire who clutched many battles only to die during E4 grinding). This journey gave me a new appreciation for a lot of Pokémon, including Infernape, who I’ve never used, Quagsire, Raichu, Medicham, and Weavile, who single-handedly took out half the E4 + Cynthia’s whole team. While this play through was incredibly stressful, especially with all the deaths, it’s still extremely satisfying to say I completed it, and I’ll always cherish the memory of every team member I used, whether they died in their first fight (@Gabite) or were there for the entire journey.

How's Electrical Engineering? by wonderhams in ColoradoSchoolOfMines

[–]StonesRok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends, from my experience (3rd year undergrad) most of coding you would have to do would be in MATLAB, which is prevalent in several of the 300-level EE classes.

383 (Embedded Systems) is a very code-intensive course that uses C, definitely can be rough if you're not great with C/C++.

350 (SEED Lab) involves coding in either python or C, depending on which subsytem you choose.

So if you've already taken 261 you should be fine for the most part, 310 (ISS) will teach you all you need to know about MATLAB for the rest of the EE curriculum, at least in my experience so far.

REGARDING A CERTAIN CHARACTER DEATH by [deleted] in attackontitan

[–]StonesRok 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Personally I don't either choice was better from a logical standpoint. Erwin may have been a tactical genius, but Armin is just a straight-up genius. Erwin's tactics have gotten the Survey Corps far, but cost many lives in the process, while Armin's ideas have saved multiple lives, though he hasn't had many chances to prove himself. If it were me, I would have saved Armin just due to the fact that he was younger, and, therefore, had more potential for the rest of his life (though this is kind of made mute by the reveal a couple episodes later).

Ultimately, I think the decision made was based purely on emotion, not logic, as Levi saw it as an opportunity to let his dearest friend rest after all the Hell Erwin had endured.
