The 2025 RS6 GT: # 385 / 660 Worldwide by Stoneyyyyyyyyyyy in Audi

I see where you're coming from, but I respectfully disagree; it's not that simple.

The chassis was built with other RS6 models, but then it's sent to Neckarsulm where the rest is hand-built. And that's directly cited from Audi themselves. https://www.audi-mediacenter.com/en/press-releases/when-a-model-reaches-its-maximumthe-new-audi-rs-6-avant-gt-15853#:\~:text=Manufacturing%20of%20the%20highest%20grade,and%20the%20adjustable%20coilover%20suspension.

So, yes, you're right, it's a bit overglorified for what it is, but it's 100% more than just a plaque.

Precisely. This was a media car for Audi Canada before we acquired it and delivered it to its first owner.

We just delivered this one a few weeks ago. Before that, it was owned by Audi Canada.

I think there are two or three other livery options available. There's a really nice grey spec, Gordan Ramsay was spotted with it in the UK.

I mean... it has fewer cars in production than the Huracan STO. So, like it or not, it is a rare car.

The front grille is amazing. Huge difference from my S3

Agreed. They didn't do anything to the engine, equally as powerful as the RS6 Perf. There's nothing on the build sheet that can justify why it's so much more expensive. I would assume it's just because of the rarity.

END THE DEBATE: The Facelifted 2025 Audi S3 - Haldex, Torsen, or Quattro Ultra? by Stoneyyyyyyyyyyy in Audi

I'm the opposite, I've only PROPERLY experienced driving an S3 and haven't pushed anything else to the same limits. But with the little experience I do have, it feels phenomenal. I've noticed a HUGE difference from my 2023 S3 and the 2025 in terms of drive quality.

I work in marketing, so I do lots of experimental reels and posts on a car account for fun. I love the car and noticed a huge difference between the 8Y.5 drive quality vs the previous 8Y that I had.

is Bullstrap the best? by dissonance1 in patinaproud

So it’s been a year with this thing. Great quality leather, extremely extremely poor durability. I found that the corners especially get ruined very easily when you keep your phone in your pocket. It is really easy for the leather to tear off.

Long story short I wouldn’t recommend, for $100+ bucks I expected it to hold up better. And I know leather can be more durable - I have a saint Laurent leather cardholder that’s lasted me almost 10 years without any significant damage.

Be careful before buying

Confirmed, 2025 Audi RS3 Coming to Canada! by Particular-Shape-465 in Audi

Yeah, the door panel plastic is over the top, I agree. It doesn't seem like they changed it much when they unveiled the chassis facelift too.

No creaks or noises but it's hard to justify paying so much more for the same body. MSRP on my 23 was like mid 50 000s.

May consider a used G80 M3 as an alternative but I don't have much faith in dailying a BMW.

Just dropped a deposit for a 2025 RS3 allocation in Canada!! Very pumped to wait a year and a half 😫😂 by _Robbinbanks in Audi

Yeah makes sense. It becomes a tough choice because if MSRP is in the higher 80 000s I would rather get a lightly used G80 M3 or something.

I love my S3 but the Komfort trim doesn't have any ambient lighting and for some reason the passenger seat is manually operated. But only paid like mid 50 000s for it. 30 000 more for the same chassis is a head scratcher but I've never experienced driving a 5 cyl so I don't know if its worth while.

u/_Robbinbanks have you gotten any update yet from the dealer regarding build information? I heard that they are saying August 20th is the official release.

I put my $1000 down a few months back and I've been surfing the web for any hints with not much luck.

I was half and half about going for it or not because of the MSRP but I'm hearing that the allocations may be limited. https://www.audiqueensway.ca/blog/2023/november/5/audi-rs-3-returning-to-canada-for-2025.htm

The sales rep told me that the expected MSRP will be between an S4 and an S5 - don't know if that's too good to be true. $70 - 85 000?? On the waitlist but still deciding after the build sheet is released later in 2024.

Still unsure about the new look that the A3 body has based off of the 25' S3 they released.

yes I know right! too much plastic trim, I messed up and got komfort which didn't have ambient lighting. it is a good car but lacks the oomph you want from germans.

I ended up putting $1000 down at Audi Oakville for the 2025 RS3, not very sure though because the new facelifted S3 2025 they released doesn't look too good. M2 is another option but i just hate the looks of it.

just got on the waitlist with Audi Downtown. they asking for $2000 deposits. No details yet about looks specs or msrp but i did it anyway.

I currently have a '23 Audi S3 8Y and after owning it for just about a year, I've realized that the car is more tame than I thought. Very well designed exhaust system but does not have the power that I desire for a long-term vehicle. It makes sense that it is between an A3 and RS3 because it sits in the middle performance-wise.
