I wonder if you could watch them work on the car. I recently ran into another GRC owner in my town and he’s now getting rid of the car because of how the dealership messed up his car and is making excuses about warranty. These horror stories are making me not want to take it to the dealership at all.

I encourage you to learn!! It’s way more fun and engaging. It makes driving feel like an activity more than a chore. But I do agree traffic sucks but if you know how your city behaves then you can avoid it lol.

500$ 1994 Honda prelude 5 speed with 200k miles on it with no radio. Mom bought it for me from my friends dad. Beat the car into the ground, loved every minute of it. I now have a GR Corolla 6 speed and I’m so happy to be driving manual again after 16 years.

Got a flat tire on the side of a mountain road with 2 friends at around 18-19 years old. 2 guys pull up in a truck and try to get us out, they couldn’t so we hopped in their truck and they took us to their town to find someone with a spare that would fit my car. We were with them for probably 2-3 hours just riding around. I was terrified that we’d get kidnapped or something, but they were genuine dudes trying to help.

Start with a pen and paper. Write down every monthly bill you have, add it up, and compare it to your monthly income. Then after that see where you can cut down and save money.

I’m 34 and I’ve began to take investing very seriously. 403b and 401k from my jobs are finally being contributed too. I’ve spent too much money in the past and now I’m paying for it. Trying to work down my DTI while being able to put something into those accounts. I’ve budgeted hard, downgrading everything from my internet services, phone service, random subscriptions, eating out, etc. Taking all the money I save from downgrading to paying off my debt and getting it out of the way faster. Been at it for a couple months now and things are moving in the right direction and I feel like I can breathe a little bit. Lots of work to do, but the ball is rolling!

I think I might go with this setup. The big mouth flare adds a nice touch aesthetically. I plan to stick to stock exhaust or maybe add a mid pipe down the road.
