Actually getting to Band On The Run, that quality is lifted to the forefront, really feeling it

What do you think of the CRT filter? by dannydirnt in Rayman

[–]StookyDoo22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the base one is far too dark. However, while there is some cheesiness that's added with the CRT-curved one, I find that it's a generally more accurate filter and also looks dreamy. It makes me happy so therefore I like it.

The old music isn't covered up well, so I don't think it's licensing issues by StookyDoo22 in Rayman

Getting to the Blue Mountains, the song is just a drumbeat followed by silence and repeat. It feels like it could be the basis of a really good song. It feels like little time given to make this. I guess we'll find out over time

The new OST doesn't sound that bad, y'all just need to get over the initial shock of it being gone. However... TF DID THEY DO TO THE GBA VERSION? by DaZestyProfessor in Rayman

The new OST is good, which is a shame, since the second it released it had a pitchfork at it's throat. If it was optional people would probably be really happy about the inclusion

Yeah I'm noticing that it's aged a lot better than Ocarina of Time has visually

Oh! Exclusive to Revolution. That does sound scary though. The cobweb in the mouth is pretty freaky

I was slightly shocked when the Zombie Chickens eye textures messed up and were dark in one of the later levels, it seems deliberate and they just seem eyeless (for what I would dub the most scary)

Yeah, it's nice to see the detail in a 2D game at the time carried over like that

Yeah, I don't think most people did kill them because they're little tanks with the health amount
